Show us your loot: Black Friday 'til Cyber Monday Edition ©
So, while most BF2020 deals have been encountered now, I'm curious to see what people were able to grab... And that might give me inspiration what to look out for on Cyber Monday.
I'll start:
Provider: UltraVPS.eu

Soo, show your loot!

eventhough i spent time looking at offers in LET and here, i grabbed nothing.
because my heart is always looking at hetz AX41
ThemeForest Profile
Yeah, I really enjoy hetzner.
Their VPS pricing is good too! Fast network (for me at least), API and scalability. Got a "Jitsi Meet" coming up with 30+ video stream participants? API call to upgrade those RAMs and CPU's to the max (16 cores, 32 rams)...
Conference done? Downgrade to 1 core 2 GB RAM again.
I bought nothing yet
Though, I am considering picking up one of Hosthatch's box in all 15 locations. Would be great for BGP.
I was tempted by all the 1 core / 1GB (or 2GB) RAM plans for 10-20 USD a year, but then again I have no real use case for them. I need at least 2 cores 2GB RAM, so I figured to save the money and put it towards 1 or 2 good offers.
So far I've snatched @AnthonySmith 's Flash Sale:
Provider - InceptionHosting (I've been an on/off client of Ant since 2014... time flies)
And of course the 128MB NAT bundle (3 for the price of € 5 / yr) from Ant as well. Probably going to use them for personal VPN (and for the extra raffle ticket hehe).
I'm still looking for something in the APAC region, so I'm closely watching @Abdullah @hosthatch . Additionally I need another VPS in US with DDOS protection. @SoftShellWeb 's offer looks nice so far.
I grabbed two of Liteserver's 4GB NVME VPS, mainly for small gameservers for me and friends.
Got a 512 slice from @Francisco, no deal on this but the specs and prem provider were right.
If @cam has any more dollar NATs I'd love to pick up another two to idle them, but I was too late to get the stock of 8 that were released.
Nothing, apart from some flash deals I didn’t see anything that was far better than some deals I’ve already got in the rest of the year.
Grabbed Letbox's NJ Ryzen 3TB box, for backups and storage ofc
Oh man, quite a lot that I will probably get around to testing over the next month or so. Will be keeping the good ones and unceremoniously dropping the turds.
Most of these VMs will be replacing aging HDD / SSD OVZ and KVM boxes that I have with some providers for years - replete with old-ass, under performing and vulnerable Intel CPUs and drives that are just slow by current standards.
Anyway, here is some stuff that I bought so far:
PS: @hosthatch, Not gonna drop the older services. They still kick serious ass
gullo , Nat 256MB/5GB $3/yr
hosterlabs, ipv6 2GB/30GB $8/yr
inception, Nat bundle 128MB/2GB $5/yr
waiting for mikho and abdullah nat bundles
idling hosts from : MrVM , Ramnode , WebHorizon , Wishosting , Gullo , Hostens , Inception , Hosterlabs , Xinix , Virmach
Only bought @liteserver 2GB NVME for my friends. Still waiting APAC deal tbh

Hosthatch has a special order method for this deal. I'm waiting for my support ticket to be handled, probably on Monday. I'll post the YABS as soon as I get it...
Ahhh, understood, thought it was available already. Thanks. I'm new.
Still waiting for some APAC deal(s)

I have 2 more ”requests” out in the wild, if I get acceptance on those to before the endo of today, there will be a pre-order bundle on CM.

Didn't see @cam, but @mikho is the best on that "niche"
Mhhh! Hope hose requests go through! I'm always interested to see what you come up with
I wonder why seriesn's sales were not that sweet as many people and I expected
No 50% off, nothing like that! I'm sad!
Ah yes, the 'Crawl of Shame' thread I was planning to create.
I had decided to wait until Monday when all the players were done with their mating dances.
However, I succumbed to just this one.
Product: Hosthatch NVMe deal 8 GB - Amsterdam
Specs: KVM / 2 CPU core / 8 GB RAM / 40 GB NVMe RAID-10 / 5 TB Transfer
Price: $
30$27/yr (loyalty discount)Goal: Cloudron instance probably
Ooh. This is something I didn't think of. I shall try this out sometime when the 24gb of idle ram on my auction dedi isn't enough.
I cancelled a 4yo scaleway E3v3 dedi (freeing up 24 euro ;2xfailover IPs were expensive).
So, net-net I've cut back monthly spend by $25. One dedi from a quality provider is enough for almost anyone.
Edit: dropped a 4gb ultravps idler too when I realized I was still in cancellation window until tomorrow. ?
thats all.
i hope.
