Virtualizor does some completly wacky things in how they built their system. Its really really really easy for nodes to become out of sync because they try to run a multi-master like setup.

I think the bigger issue is for people to trust a new person/group and believe that they're going to stick it out. Solus was born in the days of HyperVM, we're talking well over 10 years of market experience. It's going to be hard for some random person/group to launch a panel that's locked down (ioncube, zend, etc) and get much traction.
