WOWW! awesome. very nice to advertise in TiB.

may i know how does SSH port forward work, i will be given a port for that, and VPS will be automatically configured in the template OS?

    Thanked by (1)mxmla

    I bench YABS 24/7/365 unless it's a leap year.

Thanks for your question! We have no Private Networking yet and no ETA, would only be possible via Public Network, sorry.

    Thanks for your feedback!

    Correct!

You connect to the Public IPv4 Address for example to Port 222 via SSH which is forwarded to Port 22 to private IPv4 Address .2, no additional configuration inside the VPS is needed.

Thanks everyone for their pre-orders, all Hardware except HDD's are in our office, we expect the HDD's tomorrow. Servers should be provisioned during the upcoming weekend.

Pre orders will be possible until the provisioning begins, we might allow a few in stock orders @ promo pricing but pricing will be higher afterwards. I recommend saving yourself a Storage VPS :)

@cybertech said: any guide on how to port forward

Your ports are automagically forwarded 1:1 - just start your internal thing on 12345 and it will be on external 12345 (if this is your range according to docs[1])
However this thing is epic slow - opening ssh takes few seconds for this NATTing to trigger or something (at least for first try, next one works ASAP aka fast). Seems like resolving something internally?

However this thing is epic slow - opening ssh takes few seconds for this NATTing to trigger or something (at least for first try, next one works ASAP aka fast). Seems like resolving something internally?

i have managed to make NAT port forward but unsure if it's working well even though it seems to (looks intermittent), could be similar issue with the port trigger delay.

It would be nice if the panel has manual firewall port forwarding setting which is useful if some services are difficult to change the internal port, or especially if reinstall then everything resets again.

Slow logins is often a result of OpenSSH trying to do reverse DNS on the connecting IP.

Perhaps it's worth a shot to set

    UseDNS no

in /etc/ssh/sshd_config and restart the ssh service.

PS: You can always do ssh -vv user@host to get a debug log and check which step takes the most time.

i still think there's some issue with the IPv4 port connectivity not just on SSH but other apps as well

  • It's not SSH feature. I've tested it by running simple python3 -u -m http.server XXX05 and it does take seconds for first connection too - I guess the NAT thing is resolving internally, because after first connection (and from different networks of course) next connections works fast for few hours (or minutes, never tested) then it gets back to that state when first connection takes seconds.

Not rising ticket at this moment as it's fucking weekend and I am not using this (yet) server - just dumping quick info :)

  • Just got both my VPSes provisioned, fantastic performance for the price.

Anything on the block storage attachable to VDS?

Thanks everyone for their feedback! Thanks for the patience to those who were affected by our maintenance. The affected Server was switched from ZFS RAID-Z2 to ZFS RAID 10 and all further offers will be ZFS RAID 10.

The pre-order pricing is still available and we added a yearly plan. Please check our new offer thread at
