I need 2TB of disk space, with 2TB of bandwidth, within the EU for 24 hours.

Hi there,

Currently on a quest of converting Virtualizor to Proxmox, have ironed out the process and all tested good but I need to transfer my 3 qcow2 files onto a temporary node for 6-24 hours whilst I reinstall it to Proxmox and then download again to restore.

I've looked pretty much everywhere, Vultr doesn't bill hourly for block storage, Hetzner only goes up to 1TB, I have a US server with 4TB of disk space but it only downloads at 20MB/s so it was going to take 29 hours.

Happy to pay someone some money for temporary access to a server/VM with such disk space in the EU. It'd be appreciated.

Thanks

I don't know the top up requirements but maybe look at the Scaleway "bare metal cloud servers"? Cheapest is €0.40/hour and has 3x1TB SSD with 500Mbps. €0.40/hour for 2x1TB NVMe and 1Gbps.

I will check them out, thank you!

@tester4 It could get expensive if it takes a long time, but with the gigabit server it might go be well. From my experience Online has great speeds in Europe.

Yeah, testing it now, if my OVH node goes 500Mbps solid then it'll cost me 5 EUR or less which I guess is the cheapest I'm going to find.

  • Still looking? Is 2tb (disk) a hard limit or might it go over?

    Thanked by (1)tester4
