Is AES flag necessary for normal webhosting?

As above, does it affect the processing speed for websites like for example this forum?

I bench YABS 24/7/365 unless it's a leap year.

    I think AES is used in SSL encryption/decryption, but I don't think having AES flag will bring noticable difference in terms of speed. However, if you use the server to mine cryptocoins, AES flag is desperately needed..
