Yes I got an alert from The Firefox monitor.
Do not even remember when I last used it.

IMO, email is the least important thing in this leak.
Unless FF relay does more than email aliases (I don't use it), I don't see how it could've helped in this case.
Since we're talking about email aliases, I'd also recommend SimpleLogin and AnonAddy.

When if I use a ff relay email, I don't trust them with my real name, dob etc.

Cool. I do a similar thing using a catch-all rule on my domain: every mail that's not an active account is delivered to my personal mailbox, then i sign up using [email protected]. From the panel i can blacklist mails when they get breached and when i receive spam i know who leaked

Really nice approach, I will try this too

It's really nice because i've also made mails like [email protected] and every mail ending with -servers gets sent to my "Servers" folder and marked as urgent if it contains certain words.

    I have used
    contact+provider@mydomain

    Or

    gmailID+provider@gmail

I like your approach though! Minimal number of alternate universe Will try it out during next round of PW resets/ culling of inactive Accounts
