long time lurker here
just joined this forum so that i can
participates this years black friday and cybermonday..
planning to setup e-commerce business in my local
so i think i need a server that is hosted in apac,
and a domain, hoping for deals from namesilo and or namecheap.
Cheap storage (500GB-2TB HDD) in Vancouver, Canada! 1GB RAM per TB for a total of $20-25/TB/yr, willing to pay two or three years in advance. Alternately, something small and $7 or less per year in the same location just so that I can have a server there lol.
KVM VPS
Core: 1
RAM: 2 GB
Disk: 10 GB of NVMe (SSD) + 1TB HDD or just 1TB HDD
Location: Europe
Price: 30 bucks annually
For Plex
Saw the offer like this on BF 2019 but not here
Who can offer something like this or with a little bit cutted specs please PM me
PS! I believe in Santa Claus
I'm looking for something cheap in OVH's BHS DC with decent bandwidth and both IPv4 and IPv6 connectivity so I can actually start using my 500GB IPV6-only VPS I got from ServaRICA last year lol. It's at that DC and I figure having a proxy in the same location might be best. But, I'd also be open to another cheap plan in a location/DC with IPv4 & IPV6 connectivity and near the US/Canada border.

Kinda super late, here's what I want.
HDD storage with IPv6 only or IPv4 NAT, has to be KVM/Xen.
Low spec server with huge amount of traffic, not on Hetzner or OVH or Scaleway.
Both mentioned in my old posts.
For the first one, Serverica might be your best bet, they are going to restock in roughly 2 weeks. For the second, NetCup or LetBox. Very cheap bandwidth.
Ryzen or not, if you exceed a certain CPU percentage, the server gets suspended.
Virmach's percentage is 33%.
MaxKVM won't say their percentage. I need to encode push-up video. I set CPU limit to 30% on ffmpeg process. The EPYC is slower than my i5 laptop, but there's no suspension.

It's pretty quiet on the APAC and Canadian VPS deals...
Yes. I haven't seen any great deals out West (Canada).
@freerangecloud has regularly-priced VMWare in Vancouver (Harbour Centre, I think?). DC space in western Canada isn't cheap. If Seattle works for you, that may be an alternative.

Thanks for the reminder . I did see their plans before and am still hoping for a frugal deal there.
I would prefer to have a low annual payment (max ~$10 USD) since I would only be using it as a private tunnel/VPN (probably Wireguard and OpenVPN) on the rare occasions I needed to tunnel out of a public network and have a private Vancouver address. Even something small like 1 core, 512MB RAM, 10GB disk, and 1.5TB BW would probably be sufficient.

dedis with at least double disk in the price range of $25-30/month in a location where I don't have things already.
RAM/CPU not that important. Still, the more the merrier

looking for BF deal for:
2 x Ryzen vCPU fair share
2GB ram
512GB redundant storage (HW RAID10 or SAN)
1TB transfer
higher than 150mbit/s
used for backup and Plex.
I bench YABS 24/7/365 unless it's a leap year.
Perhaps LetBox might have something for you? They tend to be among the best for HDD, and they introduced Ryzen a while back.
Yup I'm on letbox's E5 node.
hoping for some good Ryzen deals
