$150m investment for Vultr
Interesting development, Vultr has obtained a $150m credit facility to expand and develop their service, will be interesting to see what they do with it. Really happy with the services I have had with them in the last couple of years but they lack things like block storage across all locations amongst other things.

Interesting, I'll remember to have a look every now and then. In the end, I ended up liking Vultr more than DO, however currently using Lunanode for hourly billled vps

I preferred DO in honesty, but Vultr had NVMe which was good for some things. Now DO has NVME and AMD.
My main provider, but they lack in bandwidth pool. Want to switch to another but too lazy migrating.
Vultr can compete by buying some Box III - Gavin Belson Signature Edition units with this 150 Mn USD funding.

I used Vultr high frequency instances for a few things a while back and they were great, DO didn't have anything comparable. But, maybe those are oversubscribed or otherwise fizzled by now.
Read the headline, first thing that popped in my head was someone really forgot to shut the instances down.
With 150M my guess is that they will start supporting soft power off/reboots
