not sure when exactly, but right now after logging into the customer panel, I noticed I got my dead server deleted from the panel and the whole amount refounded (ofc, not to my Paypal, but in HS credit)
edit: refounded on August 2 according to credit history, interestingly enough, the original order (a special offer posted here last year) is missing, just like the server itself
What he actually has as of today still remains a mystery.

I'm not sure if it's been mentioned here before (I've lost track with the number of of posts across both forums), but at some point in the last week or so, one of my Black Friday SSD VPSs in Romania (was meant to be Oradea but I'm not too sure if that's where it actually was) in the 45.14.151.xxx range was deleted and the price I paid was added to account credit (it had been down for 29 days according to HetrixTools). My storage VPS was replaced with account credit a while back, but I don't recall any posts of refunds for existing SSD servers yet.
Worth noting my Black Friday VPS with them in Norway has >99.9% uptime for this 2021, though I'm not using it for anything as I'm concerned it may vanish fairly soon.

when did he introduce the norway location at all? one could guess around and assume he prepaid for certain periods instead of a monthly installment. wait for october/november...

I think you're probably right about prepayment, as in one of his (few) replies (here, last paragraph of post), cociu said he'd be happy for Terrahost to confirm his payments to them, so I'm assuming that means there aren't any concerns there yet (though I don't think Terrahost commented after that on the thread).
I'm not too familiar with colocation contracts, but we're past 6 months since October, so a 12 month contract seems likely - so I guess we'll have to wait until then to see how things go (unless he sells those IPs too before then...).
nah. just a naive 20yo who thinks nailing a few wooden battens together and call it a 'rack' in his 'data room' makes his entrance into the hosting world. I guess he'll learn quickly about single point of failures in this setup when the first power or line outage hits.
he's trying to wiggle around fees (and chargebacks) via paypal family&friends as well, but I assume that won't go well even midterm.
no idea how Marius started his endeavors, but for sure if he did similar, he kept it to the local market first instead trying to swim with sharks from the very beginning.

Well, it's been another week. Nothing seems resolved. No follow-up from cociu on OGF.
Hey teamacc. You're a dick. (c) Jon Biloh, 2020.
He seemed to be more interested in responding/commenting to anything dedicatserver_ro related than to his own customers and services

Only thing happening is that he has given some customers a refund in credits. Which is not a refund.

the same here,
€295.99 EUR (HS credit)
Your credit balance will expire on 07/11/2029
good luck with that. i guestimate you have at least 150 EUR of your own money there?

Well, what will he do when people start using the credit to order domains I wonder?

Domain ordering will probably be disabled or get involucrated.

well, my suggestion is that if there is credit and you don't plan to charge back, use it, use it all and use it fast.

i've tried that, my orders keep on getting cancelled
keep checking the order form, maybe you will see "house with furnishing" up for order soon.

Thats low, I imagine the credit is then not returned either?

Credit is being returned. My orders keep getting deleted too.
So far 2 days in to ordering an NVME server. He should AT LEAST keep those in stock right?

He’s got a lot of peoples money, that’s for sure.
But probably a lot of debt too.

At OGM there's a romanian guy which bought stuff from cociu - or it's cociu himself? https://my.ihostart.com/index.php?rp=/store/special-offers
I took a quick look through his offer threads on the other forum, and the first thread I can find offering Norway was in October (with some comments from cociu about shipping delays).
