about the same. but as said nothing to worry, that's just what the cpu can deliver... and as can be seen the multicore score fully scales on that, so this is a sign that there is not much going on at the whole node either.

No worries. I did a YABS around New Year and it was a little higher but that's probably about right to be honest
@Falzo said:
looks like a decent box indeed. the 100 Mbit is a bummer still...
True. Its not all bad as thats only upload and if I need anything from it my home internet cant pull faster than 60mbit anyway lol
yeah for me it's the other way round... home is 1gbps down, 50mbps up, if Vodafone plays nicely that is (and rarely happens in a stable way) - so I'd be rather limited both directions 🤦🏻♂️
Nice. We get good old copper phone line 60mbps down/20mbps up lol.
yeah the best I could get out of copper here is 15mpbs/2.5mbs 🤦🏻♂️
the alternative is (tv) cable, which brings speed - however, as said, it's ... fragile. on a daily basis.
in an ideal world 300/100 or the likes would be awesome. maybe LTE/5G or something delivers that (soon?). yet you usually get only limited transfer. like 100-200GB with that. obviously quite a fail too, especially if moving a lot of data during spring clean...
imagine pushing 3TB through a flaky 50mbps upload...

Sox or seven years ago one could say the same thing about most the brands you mentioned. Many of them are top three brands in most markets they serve. Many of them are owned by same company btw.
Before/After on nexus migration. About same overall with io and net down a bit
@havoc said:
Nexus says my VPS is getting migrated (DE>>NL) so dropping a before here & after to follow a bit later.
Big gotcha though - not representative of migration overall. It's a grandfathered once off clearance special with nine lives and a lot of luck that @seriesn very honourably rolled 1:1 specs wise last migration when really the platforms were not 1:1 comparable at all. So regardless of before/after results I won't be complaining

Still pretty crazy this thing is free, but thanks Oracle! Pretty good CPU performance for an ARM host.

@Mr_Tom I've never seen a KS-LE with such high GB5 scores. What's the secret?
Team push-ups!
Not my find... https://talk.lowendspirit.com/discussion/comment/79898/#Comment_79898
Edit: they're advertised with 4tb drives, so it's not luck - from the KS panel: "KS-LE Server - Intel Xeon E5-1650v2 - 32GB DDR3 1333MHz - 2x 4To HDD"
I would have thought that score was about right for a 3.5ghz processor? My other LE (2tb drives) GB5 is 881
You got an upgraded processor as well! 12 cores vs 8
Team push-ups!
See my updated post - this is as advertised. Order form showed KS-LE Server - Intel Xeon E5-1650v2 - 32GB DDR3 1333MHz - 2x 4To HDD
looks like a decent box indeed. the 100 Mbit is a bummer still...
You can adjust the IO, it's even better now for free

I was about to ask how you're running microlxc on nodes that small... when I realised that was the container itself lol
Indeed, https://talk.lowendspirit.com/discussion/comment/79732/#Comment_79732
You could nest more LXC container in that, but I would not recommend it.
