Well, you can in theory make it pay itself and keep it for free.
I just got a bunch of KS1 for that purpose.
Mining on an Atom or?
No, you rent out like 1TB of Disk space on that Atom, give it 2 months and it should pay for itself.
You can use the rest of the Storage, Memory and CPU for other stuff.
I mean, it's superficially a good idea to rent out spare disk capacity, and I understand the proof requirements, etc...
But it'd be an awful lot easier if they just paid in cash. The only reason for the stupid coin even existing is so the early adopters can make a bazillion coins before everyone else comes on board, and so they will then artificially tax everyone else going forward.

Well, the wallet runs unlocked, you can automate to transfer the payouts to a central wallet and cash it out.
Should be possible to do it automatically and then just pay the servers with it.
I don't really mind.
If I knew before they went live surely I would have mined a bunch of coins, it did peak at 2$ per coin.

How it goes everywhere. Many say Contabo is bad, and I thought it was well enough that I run my a mail server on them now.
That Atom CPU is shit though, but that's a diff story.

Is this pay peanuts get mangoes scheme? Running something for an infinite time is cheaper than human labor.
I'd be interested in taking it off your hands for the renewal price.
Cheap dedis are my drug, and I'm too far gone to turn back.

Try hammering resources or network for long and see how well it goes.

One of my KS1
SCP dropped a bit due to the crash, it uses to be around 0.50-0.70 for every Coin.
Still, it should pay the server now.

1.8TB for 5EUR/month? Seems nice.

Yea, most of the KS1 are now deployed with 2TB, does not matter if GRA or RBX.
It would be neat though, if they bring back the setup removal promo.
