The Summer heat is beginning! And, Summer heat makes us think of Summer hosts!

In honor of the beginning of Summer, it might be interesting and educational to set up tools that beginning Low End hosts might use and maybe offer a few free VPSes or shared hosting for a short time.

It might be interesting and educational to experience a little of what it's like to use fully or partly closed source Low End host tools that ordinarily someone like me would try to avoid.

Also, maybe talking about how to set up a Low End Summer host here in this thread could interest those considering starting up as serious hosts.

• Is it possible to set up free or trial basis accounts for proprietary web hosting management and VM administrative tools such that a working setup could be achieved cost free for a short time?

• What might be a good combination with which to start?
