I would like to buy 1 core 1 gb ram 20 gb ssd + 1 tb hdd. PM me if it's possible :3
-
When will providers switch to DDR4? Looks like around 90% of providers use DDR3 in 2020.
-
Hello @Mason just want to say that it would really nice if you separated the iperf test by locations like bench monster did. 10 locations in europe, 10 in usa, 10 in asia and oceania. For example curl -sL yabs.sh | bash -s -- -eucurl -sL yabs.sh | bash -s -- -uscurl -sL yabs.sh | bash -s -- -asiaoceania

Liteserver is a very premium company, I can assure you. Their attitude is prem. I believe that they are very careful about their job. For example, I can't imagine that they can delete the VPS with your data by accident. But look how many such cases disribed with onther companies, especially lowend ones? Many companies are…

That's the same case I want 2GB RAM Storage! Modern gui take a lot of memory. Of couse if use this storage only for synching that's good even with 512 MB RAM.
-
I would buy their storage offer if it goes with 2 GB RAM, even with 512 GB HDD.
-
I wonder why seriesn's sales were not that sweet as many people and I expected :/ No 50% off, nothing like that! I'm sad!
-
sad that there's no storage sales in Europe from you :/
-
Do you have money-back if a vm doesn't fit your customer?
-
But honestly saying I find this plan 1 core 2 gb ram 500 gb hdd Very good for just 30 bucks per year. Haven't seen anything like that this year till now. It can be 1 core 1 gb ram and 1 tb hdd, it can be 1 core 1 gb ram 500 gb hdd but in both cases the budget is over 30-35 euro So I'm going to wait a little bit, maybe…

@cybertech maybe you? ;)
-
Romania as well. Does anyone have monsterbench of this greencloudvps or someone at least used it? I've never seen any review here about this company.
-
No, I didn't speak about torrents, it's understandable that it's not good with german providers. Just to upload the own film library. No pron, just hollywood DVD films. Nowadays on torrents you barely can find DVD ;)
-
As far as I know, Kimsufi don't give a f what you upload to your VPS, of course if it's not something bad like terrorism, child porn and so on.
-
Just a few minutes ago read on LET one guy told another guy that he shouldn't use @UltraVPS for warez. And they call warez any films on the VPS as far as I understand. For example I have an old libriry of my own DVD films which I bought in 00x, about 400 GB and seems I will not be appreciate if I upload them to @UltraVPS…
-
For example?
-
This man is quiet last days. Bet he'll show up soon with sweet offers ;)
-
How good is the core? Do you have the Bench.Monster test? I've been waiting Kimsufi KS-2 6 for months... How about transfering?

KVM VPS Core: 1 RAM: 2 GB Disk: 10 GB of NVMe (SSD) + 1TB HDD or just 1TB HDD Location: Europe Price: 30 bucks annually For Plex Saw the offer like this on BF 2019 but not here Who can offer something like this or with a little bit cutted specs please PM me PS! I believe in Santa Claus ;)
-
USA is not good for me. Need something in Europe.
-
Unfortunatelly @cociu VPSes have weak cores for Plex + Nextcloud + Torrenting So I would like to see at least 3000 points in geekbench 4 from @cociu 1 core in his storage plans
-
I want providers to sell Hybrid Storage VPSes. Why are providers still not interested in these hybrid plans? 10/20 GB SSD/NVMe + 500GB/1TB HDD would be very nice Especially location NL or Romania, where torrenting's usually allowed
-
Get well man! I wish you full and speedy recovery <3

CAN confirm it. The problem really exists. It started around mid-July. First of all I thought the problem is on my side, but when checked from different PC, understood that something happened with the script (?).

Hetzner is my top one. If you have an account there, you life is already successful ;) I'm going to try Ramnode, people here say it's a top-notch service and uptime. If someone has benches, I would be glad to see. Not worth your attention. They proudly declare that they are the best, they even give some…

I use torrents too much. As fas as I know it affects hard drive life. And you now, nowadays HDD drives are not the drives like in 00x. I still have my 160GB HDD Seagate working. I bought it in 2006 :) just a week ago read a lot of reviews, people says modern HDD drives live only 3-4 years. My latest HDD were bought in…

Just a regular RAM, not ECC. Didn't even know that ZFS could be used only with ECC.

You can install the OS on the SSD, but store your data on the HDD. It is very convenient and the speed is good. For example, you can install the OS and Nexloud on the SSD, and drop your data to nextcloud folders which are on HDD. You'll have speed access to your nextcloud thru your browser and in the terminal it is much…

Wow great numbers. I have a VPS in Nuremberg as well. The same plan, but the value of sha256 was no higher than 230 MB/s even though my processor produced 1100 points, while yours are 995. Oddly.

Installed inetutils-syslogd and iptables-persistent, then fail2ban and edited jail.local. systemctl start fail2bansystemctl enable fail2ban Looks like works, banned me 2 times after the each 3th attempt. Restarted the VPS and again it wasn't working. Okay. systemctl enable fail2ban Rebooted and now it's working. Dunny why…

It wasn't installed by that time. Just a fresh VPS. I started from the fail2ban configurating and stuck... Installed now, allowed 22/tcp, enabled, added banaction = ufw to jail.local, restarted f2b, even rebooted the vps. Nothing interesting.

But everything works fine on Ubuntu 18.04 with the same config. 60 secs just to test. Looks like your were right with iptables-multiport things. Tried to fix it by adding [DEFAULT] bantime = 3600 banaction = iptables-multiport [sshd] maxretry = 5 enabled = true To jail.local But it didn't help Then tried banaction =…

Find out that everythings work on Ubuntu 18.04. But not on Ubuntu 20.04. Checked bug reports, found this https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/fail2ban/+bug/1875169 Checked and it turned out I have this recommended line already, so nothing to change Anyone facing the issue with fail2ban on Ubuntu 20.04?

My 3.5 euro Hetzner VPS has more cpu power per core as well VPS: https://browser.geekbench.com/v4/cpu/15640202 PC: https://browser.geekbench.com/v4/cpu/15632286 vCores, you said? Haha

Oh guys. I always used panels with fail2ban included but now I have no panel, installed fail2ban and configured but it doesn't work properly. I mean yeah it works but doesn't work after I reboot my server or after the first fail to login. Where did I go wrong way?
