would you also enable AES-NI instead? usually it'd be in favour of the nodes overall load/performance, if the guests can use it properly instead of having to use 'regular' cpu power ;-) just suggesting as I think could be in your interest... the performance is awesome anyway!
-
yeah depending on the problem you might need to make sure, that you react at least quickly. usually they are not a feasible provider if your client base tends to be... inconsiderate.

https://browser.geekbench.com/v5/cpu/7165819 ordered feb 22nd, delivered today... you wish. go order and have yourself a patient wait like everyone else :-P gonna bench for fun anyway, like... daily ?♂️

it's not just that. simply couldn't hold back any longer and needed to poke the bear a little... for now. could be wrong. maybe not. awareness is all I am after.
-
only if you promise to not have his disks raided again! ( #toosoon ? )
-
fine then.
-
would you coincidentically also have some dropbox storage to go with that?
-
no worries, while I haven't seen the image I trust your judgement and I am fully with you on removing offending content here. it's really just about leaving a history about something happened and who was involved for better readability ;-)
-
fully agree here, please rather edit/empty it with a short remark than just completly deleting, thanks ;-)

Hi @MAlexLee
-
is it? while I agree that you responded in the only possible way by restoring the service and access for your client and offering compensation the real issue is a different one. did you talk to your employee about his reasons to act like he did? this most likely is annoying as hell, but you could see it as an opportunity…
-
more likely not. seeing this simply leads to a big NO on every future consideration of this provider. a first level support agent should not have the power to decide over the faith of a client in that way to begin with. a ToS that singlesided allows the provider to cancel a service without reason is the second NO anyway.
-
RBX 4 definitely, because it's the one they invented that kind of structure used for SBG2 in the first place. I'd guess SBG3 also is pretty much the same... from images you only can guess that they build something similar in BHS, but only inside the bigger halls: I'd say chance for wooden floors in between: highly likely…

probably not smoke but rather gas if it came from batteries and without fire. hydrogen tends to explode though... go figure.

Du Opfer! :#
-
dropbox much anyone?
-
two days ago it still had 'approx. CW12 / March 22nd' on it for FSN. (pre)ordered one on feb 22nd ... let's see.
-
hard to beat: yes and no ;-) 3 TB at this price point is always an interesting offer. also the combination with a bit of nvme or even pure ssd for the system itself is very nice. however it is not that rare anymore, at least if you can wait a bit for offers popping up - like 2TB at $48 from servarica or even $40 from…

sorry to disappoint, but in my case I have company budget for a full AX101 and it's already ordered and waiting for delivery. the VM/slice here was just a perfect opportunity to easily test the ryzen performance for our use case again - and with that also help @Aaron in testing his setup. win-win. but to be fair, never…
-
didn't one of Olés twitter messages after they went there say something about finally being able to shutoff the gens for SBG3? that made it sound like the gens were running the whole time and obviously posing some risk then.
-
it's rather press-bs to blow up the numbers. 460k domains is not dramatic enough. if by websites they'd really mean different independent websites and not just (sub-)pages that means on average each domain needs to host 7 different independent websites. instead for sure some smartarse probably meant 3.6m simple pages, even…

...hold my beer
-
agreed. and if the power gets cut, luck might have it the generators kick in and survive a while to have the vents/AC still blowing into it...
-
that was 2017 in regards to the power loss incident there and afair more related to the grid design and not neccessarily the containers itself ;-)
-
I think mostly also because it simply was cheap. didn't they also get awards for kind of inventing or pushing that way of building DC infrastructure?
-
I doubt there is much, they could really do about that, based on how they can or cannot locate themselves. but sure they might have tried to cool down the connection parts to avoid spread. didn't work so well on the other side towards the SBG1 containers though... this gives an additional hint about the structure and the…
