afaik misconfigured VPNs can also cause shitstorm of broadcast packages blown to wrong subnets...
-
this rather sounds like someone might be using your IP as gateway or has some strange routing/forwarding set up? or it's just broadcast traffic that is misdirected...

this. if the second person is labeled admin or mod and to what extend they have permissions depends on the amount of work they should take over. different timezones are a valid reason imho. also this sounds very reasonable: couldn't have said it better. ?♂?

So, here is a story of a very prem, non lowend service - VM specialist! I am always looking out for services/locations on @Clouvider s prem network and now finally managed to cut a deal with @Mr_Tom for a VM in NYC and London :-) From what I know his main focus is selling managed services (so I do myself) but totally went…

I beg to differ ;-) ;-) personally the speedometer seemed a bit boring, but maybe that's just me... that's why I rather picked something more abstract which you could also relate to the 'community' suggestion as well as 'data points' etc. of course there are easily more options, like bars: or analyzing:
-
nah, instead you should already think about merchandise...
-
also, if you receive false alerts, try changing the locations you use to check and set it to the full amount before you receive an alert. (e.g. select 4 locations and only send an alter if all four are failing) maybe you use some firewall/blacklist that blocks IP ranges and therefore you also block some of Hetrix IPs?
-
sure... click on the pen to edit your monitor, find the 'show advanced settings' bar at the bottom of the popup and click on it. then find and adjust the settings for repeated notifications...

you're really asking why a server with 256G is not using more than 13G for buffers/cache? is there even enough data in use to be cached? ;-) ;-) ;-) does it eventually use zfs anyway, where the ARC might not be shown as buffers/cache but really counted towards the occupied memory?

@gks, yes they do: https://docs.hetzner.com/robot/dedicated-server/general-information/root-server-hardware/ BUT obviously only if the board and cpu supports that. i7 3770 -> max 32GB , so no upgrade possible on that one.
-
lol, just don't ;-)

while is very true, one have to admit that @hosthatch is one of the very few providers who allowed his existing clients a discount on top of new purchases for not cancelling old ones or even free upgrades to comparable newer plans. there are barely any other providers who allow that but instead the rule of thumb on most…
-
not yet. reason told by @hosthatch within that topic was that they haven't announced their own IP space over there yet and they do not want to use external LGs from just the datacenter etc. as the peerings might be different from what the final setup will be.
-
only one offer per day though... today is just another cheap .de Domain ?♂ direct order link (ref): https://www.netcup-offers.eu/bestellen/produkt.php?produkt=2689
-
postponed already to 23:20 , might come even later, last time someone decided to DDOS that other site just on time so they had to raise CF hurdles and @hosthatch could not get his post through the cpatcha shit with all the links in it :#
-
yeah I should probably just go away and not even look at it. I have no need and bought too much already...
-
what can I say... guilty as charged.
-
@gleert what's the underlying storage system look like? some kind of raid or zfs? if so which level?
-
@seriesn look man, finally you also made a sale :-P
-
so far it hasn't been called off for any of the location, so yes. but you rather want to check the according thread over at the other place.

pricing for uk ssd-cached 2G and 3G seems to be off by 5€ , shows 30 & 40 in cart...
