that's fair enough...

yeah, that's it! I'd say yes, but maybe that's just me. we could simply ask the pub owners for permission I guess and/or make it a vote ^^
-
yes, please. if you go through this topic you'll find quite some large servers and also different cloud instances from aws/azure/hetzner that have been yabsed

get a room you two! but... I like where this is going. imagine the Easter Megathread at LES driven by @FAT32 , @Nekki , Emma Watson and a bunch of offer hunting cunts.

most likely a permission issue. afaik that specific tmp folder is not world readable, so redis might really and simply not be able to access it, if it does not run under the right owner. but I am a bit out of loop for the development so I can't say since when or why it is this way. maybe search or write something in the…

Ssshhhh! Won't you spoil it yet?

This. Done.

how much?
-
yes indeed. selling lifetime and becoming unresponsive from time to time due to whatever issues and problems arise next do not paint a picture of reliability. this always makes you look like going for some quick money like cociu did with his double up credits stuff and so on... I am pretty certain you don't want to be put…

But why? It's gonna be only some customer data on it Nothing of personal value

and rightly so - go get it, tiger!

no, the offer in general is 55$ for two years aka biennially. I just quoted the yearly equivalent for better comparison. sorry for the confusion. but from what I have seen you can also chose triennially for $75, so that would even bring it down to $25 a year...

may I ask why? did you ask to get it moved or just decided on another product? (afaik that's epyc there then, right?) however, for freakin $27.5 per year I couldn't hold it anyway ... so: # ## ## ## ## ## ## ## ## ## ## ## ## ## ## ## ## ## ## Yet-Another-Bench-Script ## v2022-02-18 ##…

could you do one including network and GB5 instead of GB4 ? thanks!
-
I'll gladly try and contribute, though I am actually very slooooow on writing something like that. probably best to check what I have written here or in other places regarding these things before...
-
could well be, yet Hetzner always refers to it as FSN-DCx when talking about the location. the x marks the different buildings/areas within the whole Falkenstein location...
-
it's called FalkenSteiN not FLK ;-) just sayin'
-
yeah I thought that as well a few weeks back already. guess he's not really aware.
-
I'd say he's trying to contribute, because ... provider tag, you know ;-) ... and also good to always have your signature in sight ^^ at least it's not the usual comment spam with 'awesome', 'yeah that's great' and whatever

well I am confused by the pricing as well: so you only have two prices. one for running the whole server as single VM within and one for the actual 'hypervisor with unlimited VMs'? as @webcraft points out this leads to people thinking about servers (hypervisors) with <10 VMs on it, where the pricing now look very much not…

same here, it's only the disk space that makes it a bit more interesting. luckily the IO limitations seems to put it quite into the range of just somewhat cached HDD and the geekbench is even worse. 500 single score isn't Epyc worthy and scaling to 900 on a 4 core VPS? nah. pass.
