Still waiting for an answer on my question in your previous thread: https://talk.lowendspirit.com/discussion/comment/47040/#Comment_47040

MicroLXC.net by @Neoon is $0: https://microlxc.net/index.php?p=deploy Obviously while supplies last, but isn't this the case with all providers ;) ?
-
Deserved @FAT32 and very generous of both @seriesn and @dahartigan :) Well done!
-
Do I need it? No. Do I want it? Yes.
-
Impressive offer. I look forward to the the IPv4 ones
-
Was about to post the same. Your SAN and common name (panel.haendler.it) do not match your domainname (kts24.com)
-
But Docker is way more easier to migrate if you need to move hosts, easier to backup and rollback if needed .
-
Good post, thank you.
-
Apologies, done!

Sold to Wolveix. I'll pop in a ticket with Anthony for transfer.

How would a provider be able to distuingish between a valid 'DDOS load test' and a malicious DDOS attack? I mean you can claim the target IP is yours, but how can a provider verify? Personally, I would use one of these SaaS providers: https://geekflare.com/essential-tools-to-perform-stress-test-online/ OK

Will do, thanks!
-
Thanks for the offer, appreciate it :). Alright, if nobody wants it by tomorrow evening (Saturday 5th of December 2020 CET), I would like to make use of the credit option please. Thanks, Ant!
-
Ah, thanks for clarifying :). I misunderstood then. I thought it was one large prize pool and it didn't matter whether you ordered at (for example) Spry or NexusBytes to win a prize at (for example) Geek Solutions and InceptionHosting. Like mix and match I mean :) I should've placed an order at Spry and Geek Solutions then…

Thanks for organizing this amazing giveaway guys! And congratulations to the winners! @seriesn I hate to ask, but I noticed there are 4 Nexus Bytes Credit winners, whereas the topic start says 5 x $50 service credit? Also, will Spry Servers, Geek Solutions and Mr. VM announce their own winners :) ? I noticed there's a…

It's been a while since I used OpenVPN. How does your server and client config look like? Make sure to redact any private info.
-
Hehe, nice ;) After filtering out the invalid entries, put each one on a single line and use random.org to pick the winners :)? For example using https://www.random.org/lists/

@hosthatch I suspect you are referring to my post I quoted above, because this is the only recent post I could find mentioning hosthatch and 'overselling', correct? If so, there's been a misunderstanding. Reading back, I do agree that my sentence is a bit wonky, so please allow me to clarify; I was trying to state that I…

Mine is: https://whmeasybackup.com/ Nightly full account backups to my in-house NAS. When it comes to data, I am a bit paranoid you see ;)

We replied at the same time. Nice ;)

Still, that's more than the cPanel licensing costs. Let's assume they have a Premier account: Starting January 1st, 2021, Bulk Account pricing for Premier Cloud or Premier Metal will be $0.30 per month. So: 1 cPanel license for 1 account will cost $ 0.30 * 12 = $ 3.60 / year. That leaves $ 20.99 - $ 3.60 = $ 17.39 for…
-
cPanel license costs would be higher than that.
-
That's awesome. Small things like this can go a long way for employees. Thanks for sharing!
-
Done. And now we wait ;)
-
Fair point, I agree with you on that one :)

@hosthatch
-
To be fair, the sale by hosthatch was so crazy and labor intensive, I can imagine he could only manage one forum at a time. Then again, LES is much more civil and doesn't spam you with a ticket number 5 nanoseconds after you've submitted the ticket, requesting you to URGENTLY REPLY.

I must admit I visited LET yesterday for the Hosthatch BF deals, but apart from that I never visited it anymore in the past 2-3 years. The vibe is just different there. I feel there's a lack of mutual respect, especially between users and providers. For example, yesterday I did not submit my order because the pricing was…

I'm banned from WHT actually. Remember when WHT was hacked years ago? Apparently the joke I made about it was 'too soon' back then and they banned me. WHT was mainly about shared hosting imho. Not much technical deep dive over there.

Still bummed I missed out on that 2 core / 8 GB ram in Sydney or Hong Kong. Would've been perfect for the Adhole project.
