Now why didn't I think of that

I am not really sure about the pricing for flash storage. So, could you send me an offer instead? At this point, I have a VM with Wishosting that comes with 300GB of NVMe storage and 8GB of RAM for about $8/mo. I looked around, and also found a limited offer that Servarica ran for ~$4/mo for 200GB of SSD storage and 4GB of…

Yep, my uni still allows me to use my edu address. Probably makes it easier for them to reach out to thousands of alumni. For some reason, I still have access to their internal app licensing portal that could allow me to download apps with edu licensing from companies such as MS, Adobe, Autodesk, Jetbrains and even…

An Android / iOS native app would be a nifty little thing to have to monitor our boxes. Just saying
-
Quite frankly, I am surprised the words "Flash" "Deal" "Promo" "Coupon" "Offer" "Discount" "Hostloc" and "MJJ" haven't already put you off for good  Personally, I would have been half way to a rehab by now, had I not been too broke after the crazy shopping spree. J/K ofc. Good job with the sales dude!

Any idea if there are any publicly available LG links for Milan, Madrid and Sydney?
-
As if they weren't already enough.. here's the latest one! * 1x @hosthatch 2TB Storage KVM from their last flash sale in Stockholm

Yeah, Hetzner offers remarkably good VFM all year round, even with their set-up fee.
-
Performance wise, SSD is gonna trump an SSD cached box. Every. Single. Time.
-
Don't be a dick policy is applicable, I am sure. As long as you aren't being a nuisance on the node and affecting your neighbors, it should be alright
-
Oh man, quite a lot that I will probably get around to testing over the next month or so. Will be keeping the good ones and unceremoniously dropping the turds. Most of these VMs will be replacing aging HDD / SSD OVZ and KVM boxes that I have with some providers for years - replete with old-ass, under performing…

Who else but Hetzner

Ticketing in over SLA for a dollar a month VPS literally won't be worth my time

This is one helluva deal. Bought one. Never letting it go.

Please, NO. /kthxbai.

Little slow to get the 80% off. Anyway, trying my luck with the rest of the freebies  91c352a8d7505c676ece59efd50328c1

Buy one and let us know?

Can never get enough of these stickers. Thanks Dom!

Dont bother with plex drive. A regular rclone mount should work. Ensure you dont dump the complete drive into your plex library. Add locations in batches, and give plex atleast 2-3h to process files with meta data to avoid running into gdrive API limits. You can even spread it out over 24h intervals the first time. That…

Sure. Hetzner FTW! I have an SX-62. No one else offers unmetered Gbit + crazy low $/TB at such a price point
-
About ~110EUR/mo for both the dedis. Local NAS / Home server isn't an option for me, so having a couple of unmetered Gbit boxes with private networking works out, as I have got some more stuff going on the NVMe box than just a plex instance

While bulk of my ISOs are stored on a proper storage server, I do have about 8T worth of ISOs on a Team drive that I set up a while ago for shits and giggles, to see what the fuss was all about. I was able to get it going in my first attempt, and it still works like a charm to date, without any messed up index, sluggish…

Plex is still a great service, and nothing comes close when it boils down to organizing library, downloading meta data and sorting collections based on it. Also, hardware decoding works like a charm. Not to mention the excellent Plexamp app, that allows you to even stream lossless music using a very polished interface.…

Already snagged the 70% off deal last year, and am holding on to it real tight! Keep up the good work @Andrei

And here I am, (ab)using the crap out of the 2 bucks a month Start-2-S-SATA dedi for close to 2 years now
