It still is! One of the few sites that I visit religiously :)
-
Finally sorted it. Took a bit to chase down the source of the issue, but the fix required some PHP changes (which isn't really my language of choice). Let me know if you have any other issues.

I understand your frustration and am also disappointed the sale was shared elsewhere (even though it literally says in the post copied to hostloc to not post it elsewhere). But if anyone read that post on hostloc (or elsewhere) and didn't realize they had to register and post their order information here to get it…

Alright... I think I got this thread somewhat cleaned up. If you notice your comment is gone, then I deemed it part of the derail-a-thon that occurred over the last few hours. The word of the day today is: Patience If you posted your order # / invoice #, great! Wait for activation or some other communication from @VirMach.…

Great suggestion, that would definitely help everyone
-
Heh. No need to bring this back up for debate, I won't be removing the button given the response from everyone in the thread that finds it useful. Appreciate the input, all!

You can do this discretely using the Drive API by creating a service account with Domain-wide Delegation (DwD) according to some mysterious Reddit user.

I was thinking the same thing and had also searched through the rules a couple hours ago to see if we had anything mentioning it. I personally don't mind it not being in English for small comments or one-offs. However, extended conversations should definitely be in English from a moderation and general forum readability…

Hey now, @vyas... we don't bus-shame here.

@Amadex @CamoYoshi @risharde Appreciate the three of you guys coming to an amicable solution here. I realize mistakes happen, so thanks all for trying to make this right. That's the low end spirit! ;)
-
Weird... I could've sworn I just heard an evil laugh echoing somewhere while reading this.
-
Aye. Bidding was set to end @ "05.04.2022 00:00 CEST" as per original post. @CamoYoshi's bid was 13 minutes after that deadline. @Amadex - this was on you to confirm that the bids were valid before accepting the winner.

Appreciate the good run! I think I signed on right when you opened the DE node years ago. Lost my panel login stuff shortly after initially setting it up, but has been so solid that I've never even needed access to the control panel. Thanks again, @Neoon!

Maybe geekbench was having issues with their site/ downloads or something this morning? Not sure. Just ran a test and it went fine, can you guys give it another go and see if the issue is resolved?
-
Closed thread as this was an accidental necro and contents are no longer relevant. @Neoon feel free to ask me to unclose or open fresh thread, if you'd like

Moved to public per OPs request

One of the many reasons I love Linux. Throw it on any old hardware and it'll run perfectly fine. And unlike Windows, distro upgrades (usually) don't cripple the machine and make old hw obsolete.

Congrats @crotaphiticus!! Be sure to post a yabs when it gets delivered ;)

Just want to chime in as well. I had a VM for a little less than three years with Mike that was being used for a game server. In that entire time, I never had any issues reported by the players on the server nor had any need to submit a ticket for any reason. Would always recommend ExtraVM without reservation.

When I couldn't afford a decent rig, I had all the time in the world to play. And now that I can afford one, I have barely any time to play. So it goes.
-
Try converting the kernel to WSL2. @cybertech ran into the same issue a while back and that's what fixed it.
-
Don't worry guys, it's not getting axed. Didn't realize so many people actually used it :)

@ehab be my valentine
-
Okay, I'll change your custom tag to a duck and when people click it, it'll reset your 'Thanks' counter to zero. Sound good, or were you thinking something else?
-
Please don't underestimate my stupidity
-
Interesting, that's a good option if I can easily implement it.
-
So it seems! I'm honestly quite surprised. Personally, I hate it because I accidentally press it all the time and miss replies. Maybe instead I'll look into figuring out how to add a dialogue box to confirm the button press. Best of both worlds then -- people who use it can keep using it, and people like me who are idiots…
