is there something I should know about here

:) Linode is great imo.

If I recall correctly don't you have to restart OLS every time you make an .htaccess change? And on LS Enterprise you don't? It could be a big downside if offering OLS to clients.

I agree. I don't really like Virtualizor but it's been a few years I think since I've really used it. If Solus.io has awful pricing I won't be using it. Still use WHMCS... but looking at a way to migrate without causing tons of problems. Might not be possible, maybe it is.

@SagnikS One of my Ryzen 3700X servers has a Toshiba KXG60ZNV1T02, the other has a Samsung MZVLB1T0HALR. i9-9900K has Samsung MZVLB1T0HALR as well. Treadripper MZQLB960HAJR. So no, not the same ones you have.

What monitoring/alert? If it's Hetrix and you have all checks enabled it will notify you if it's doing anything like checking/resync. What did cat /proc/mdstat show? I've never had a problem with Hetzners drives.

They're good, but if I recall that one is like $750.

Even under full load mine never got hot enough to be in throttling range, but I use 2U for all of my existing stuff. Anything in the future will be 1U though.

They do not know the actual root cause of the problem, they are just blanketing the situation in the email.

The majority of the boards support ECC, even many of the cheap $60-80 boards. There's no point of doing that with a super cheap board though really..
-
Well the stuff I run doesn't need 4 or more NVMe drives, and the drives I use are just 1 or 2 M.2 drive configs with adapters (or 1x onboard + 1x adapter) with the rest being SATA for boot and stuff. I don't hotswap, but you can technically hotswap without a sas card or whatever anyway? But of course if you're wanting a…

ASRR boards have IPMI and cooling is nothing, I run a 16 core Ryzen on air and it's only 42*c under 70% load right now. ASRR has barebones (1U) servers for Ryzen. They are great. Anyway, good day.
-
I'll be moving all of my Intel VMs to Ryzen throughout the next few months as well. Already done a little bit.
-
Yes, and I don't say the quotes to be a dick, but there's a fair market for them and it will just grow. It's why I got some of the Ryzen stuff immediately when the ASRR boards were more available (and it's the reason why OVH uses the ASRR boards for their new Ryzen line.) I've never had an issue with it, across any CPU…

I don't know about that lol... Opterons are something...
