I use Linode, no problems, but of course it's not the cheapest.

I remember just 2-3 months ago they wouldn't say a word about DDoS protection, kind of surprised this comes out now. Wonder how well it'll work, especially considering they have Mumbai and Tokyo networks.
-
Well there's lots of porn on OVH, and I have some of it.. well not me personally.... so OVH would work.
-
I used IBM Cloud briefly when testing for virtual machines to move stuff to, it was fine (drive IO was actually far better than other cloud services if I remember correctly), but bandwidth is pretty limited.
-
I'd like to get these in something like those multi-server ARM 1U systems.
-
We are all just people sitting in our bedrooms :bleep_bloop: Edit: or basements if you run that type of company.
-
I will give reset monthly bandwidth for free if requested as long as the system isn't near the quota for the month, and most are under 25% all the time, so it's usually fine.

Maybe that wasn't the best word, but I mean the manufacturer doesn't create them for servers. Epyc has features Ryzen doesn't. To most people it doesn't matter, only to the companies with the specific use.
-
Things like Epyc platforms do have some benefits for enterprise. People aren't adopting Ryzen in servers simply because they weren't meant for it. Server builders don't do Ryzen, because it's a desktop chip, and most people rely on server builders. The very few people that do it upcharege by a lot because it's a risk and…

nice. The drive speed is something that is pretty bad, I admit getting NVMe to perform well under Linux is something I have a hard time with. I only have these issues when using mdadm raid for some reason it seems like.

no, just my opinion.

Higher frequency on less cores doesn't mean anything for a VPS, definitely when it's only a 100Mhz difference. If it was great I would have kept continuing with i7's and i9's. Same reason I quit using those for Minecraft and instead user higher core Ryzen now for those too. The 3900X and 3950X will never be overloaded, I…

Have no fear, I plan to daisy chain four Ryzen chips together with CPU to USB adapters to provide the exponential power.

I don't mind, PM me the IP or open a ticket.

Sure, PM.

I used BitPay originally for a year or two, couldn't get it to work with CloudFlare then a few months back switched to Coinbase Commerce, then their WHMCS module didn't work with an update and broke the cron process, so I switched to doing crypto payments manually with normal Coinbase. Now I'm back to BitPay. I get tired…

If it's for web hosting clients LS is worth it. Get an owned license if you have enough clients/funds, pays itself off basically after a while.
