A quicky about the incident today at NO (Terrahost) IPv4 was down for about 45 minutes and IPv6 was down for about 96 minutes. Terrahost suspended the machine at 12:36 (GMT) without any reason given, at first. According to Terrahost the issue was, that the assigned /48 IPv6 Subnet was not routed to the server which caused…

ITS BACK.

They actually had this offer 3 times in the past weeks, maybe it comes back again, who knows. 06.04 - 10.04 10.04 - 14.04 24.04 - 28.04 It always ran 4 days Just in case: https://en.metadedi.net/index.php?p=notification&provider=29&price=15.00
-
But what if Kimsufi drops the price by 50% you gonna loose it then?
-
Yea kinda true, but we had 8.99 Kimsufis with 16gig, which I still got my hands on. Hopefully they will go come back up soon.
-
Its a old offer since a few weeks, I did mention it on Hostballen but its meh. https://hostedtalk.net/t/the-ball-pit/18/17825 8 gig and + VAT if it would be 16gig sure I would have mentioned it everywhere. Speaking of ikoula, my server just took a shit.
-
I am sure you can get 1k within that 12 hours if you get the chinese into. The title just needs to be more legit and more clickbaty
-
Still shit value compared to Hetzner. But, its in stock + has decent AntiDDoS. edit: oh wait US, but sure you still find cheaper ones.
-
That was to obvious, try better next time.

I should have written a bit more, I did not intended to trigger a rant. I know that NAT has a tiny tiny margin if even. You did a good thing with NAT for the community, that's out of question. I just wanted to respond to his comment, I should have written a bit more. Infact NanoKVM if I would add the numbers up, we should…
-
Well no. @AnthonySmith is moving out of NAT since a while. First he dropped NAT KVM, then he dropped LES Italy, LES Japan and now dropped HAProxy support. Others like @mikho are expanding the empire.
-
Congrats on that decent resource usage. Some stuff that I have running runs on quite big machina which is a big overkill. Better let it run on small machina..
-
So you got yourself a few public ip adresses at (Hetzner) and trying to assign them with a DHCP server? Or what else are you trying to build?
-
Subnet + Netmask looks invalid configured, fix that first.
-
http should work if you terminate the TLS connections at HAProxy but that means HAProxy would need to have the keys.
-
You can add headers in the HTTP mode, but not in TCP. Because the package contents cannot be manipulated since they are encrypted and the HAProxy has not the keys for it, it just checks if its valid TLS traffic, reads the SNI header and forwards it. But it can manipulate the headers of the packages such as the IP address,…

Well, they updated their software and ran it again. Apparently it fucked up big time, so they should figure out why it did happen. Also adding more security checks to prevent this from happening again.
