• No, If you use their rescue system, and follow the prompts there, you can select your own level RAID, or pull it out of RAID entirely. Just takes a few more steps, and you'll be storted.

• They were, and have been for quite a while (they stopped selling it actively I beleive when they got bought out, but they did offer like 2TB Storage OpenVZs (via openvz.io ) which did get snapped up pretty fast..
