KVM is a full system emulation. You can run anything on it. OpenVZ is a Linux kernel only abstraction, and, whatever. I feel that it is shitty due to shared ports across the whole box, and several other reasons, but that's why I hate it as an admin. For basic stuff, it works perfectly fine, and generally costs less because…

Not sure what I'll do for lunch today. Got an iced tea and a hell of a headache. Was working until 2 and was up at 8. If this is what quarantine looks like, let 'em all out. Eventually we'll be in a nice wasteland. I need to dig another garden. Last years' was pretty craptastic and although I caged it, it didn't do great…

Another brainworm. The great thing about this is it doesn't matter if you've never heard it before. It's there forever. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pUdhaDCvPWY

Thank you! @foxone

Dammit. There's a project for routing private network space live where everyone can basically ask to join and peers will help you which would be perfect here, but I can't remember the name of it for the life of me.

Mock Mellotron with a cassette tape and an LQ-500. http://www.qotile.net/audio/dotmatrix_rev.mp3 Been like 20 years since I first heard this and today I was like y'know, that was kinda catchy.

Well, if you want to be a food snob about it! I had leftover frozen pizza last night and it was awesome. "Wild Mikes" really is a decent frozen pizza, and it doesn't cost much more than the cardboard flavor brands.

Yep. I guess I need to build one of those, myself. I am a bit shocked at how people refuse to let go of CentOS 6; I finally got them to stop requesting Debian 7.

Spring rolls are the brown crunchy things, the inverted vaginas are potstickers.

Spring rolls is correct, but you didn't even mention the potstickers?! I was lazy and had leftovers.

... and rootable.

Void and OpenBSD are still available. Neither one takes a fuckton of RAM.

Mostly DNS and backup services for my primary dedi. I don't like running everything in one place. I've done that, but I would not suggest doing so.

I was just going to take a general potshot, but since you want to continue- Yeah. Often fairly foolish people who try to install wrong packages because they think they're the same thing, and pointless support tickets about how things don't work exactly the same, and we could go on from there. Everyone's welcome to use…

Meh. If you like how Debian works, use Debian. If you need training wheels, mint is actually more polished.
-
Uhm, yeah.

@FlamingSpaceJunk This is the closest I can even think of when it comes to '90s punk': https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2H5uWRjFsGc ..and that isn't really punk, either.
-
Shit I haven't listened to Dropkick in years. Thanks for reminding me.

C'mon, we're still talking about rooted boxes. It's a lateral translation.
