Contact MrVM and see what your issue is. Bad/wrong address to mapped address does this automatically. Certain payments do as well. If your network is setup to allow constant tcp connections you could just run an SSH or other tunnel to it.

The biggest problem with OVZ is that all patches are third party and not mainstream, where KVM is part of the kernel. If Virtuozzo becomes insolvent, OVZ7 will go the same way as OVZ6 with even less support.

If you mean you're only using the closest bit of the drive as opposed to the entire drive, unless it's on a single platter, you're still just wasting space. I don't remember the last time I've seen a single platter drive, and other than the outer side being marginally larger than the inner - you're not really going to see…
