Fair enough. Too bad it didn't work out for you. Didn't have any problems with ovpn. Then again, when I bought it, it was even less developed than it was now and I bought it with the mindset of it being a long term investion "if it starts being usable after 3 years and, as a PureVPN reseller, slowly adapts all/most its'…

You can find all locations here: https://support.fastestvpn.com/vpn-servers About torrenting servers you could always contact their support :)
-
For me it also usually worked without problems. One day, some US OVPN file didn't work anymore, so I re-downloaded them and then it worked.
-
They change the server hostname/config once jn a while. Make sure you got the latest ovpn files from them. I don't see any servers marked as "Torrenting" servers in their app.

Sent you a pm ;)

Thanks for the offer, mate :) Just to clarify, as I am not sure everyone understood it: Not looking to start mining, just looking to understand more about it. That being said, I'd love to shoot you a few questions and/or hear some insight :) Especially, given that you seem to have quite tue experience to share. I'll pm you…

Ah, fair enough. I hear in Portugal it's not taxable at all. Granted, some german financial courts (e.g. one close to where I live) have stated that crypto gainings are not to be of any concern to the tax offices at all, making them tax free as it would be considered like collecting Monopoly Money or letter stamps. If that…
-
In your country, are crypto profits tax-free, in general? Or you do (day) trading even if you have to pay taxes? Here in Germany it's one year holding to be tax-free. Trading day-to-day all profits will be taxed with Einkommenssteuersatz which is usually some 35%+ depending on the individual. As a person you can earn about…

Interesting read! Sticking to buy & hold right now. At least in Germany, crypto profits are tax-free after 1 year of holding (until now). The new government might change that, but probably not retrospectively. It's quite the gamble, but then again, more and more people seem to be adding at least a small percentage of 2-7%…

Haha, just always looking to learn more :P Thanks for replying, mate! 1) This was probably the most important point to me when I bought into crypto. For one, I was looking to diversify my portfolio; additionally, I was looking to pick coins that are well established and (currently) have a use case. I am holding BTC and ETH…

Not a fan ot Netcup for Webhosting. You can't easily move websites to them without downtime since you can't add a domain with them if your ns are not pointing to them. Backups are not accessible and restoration costs 9€ flat. No easy going back without own Backups (which you should have, but daily provider backups are…

Increasing EP isn't really gonna cut it. For me, at least.

I hear you. I got Qubely Lifetime License about a year back on AS. Fast forward to today and they barely update their plugin and in the FB group kinda officially stated it is more or less "abandoned" since it doesn't generate them any revenue. They apparently focus on Tutor LMS now.. So, when I saw Stackable, I didn't…

I also use Blocksy a lot these days (as you probably already know) and it certainly shines at simplicity and performance. I was evaluating to get the LTD quite some times now, but I feel like it still has too little an audience to be sure it will be around in a few years time. The FB group is kinda active, though only…

They recently pushed a big performance update and also introduced a way to only load critical css: https://www.elegantthemes.com/blog/divi-resources/divi-critical-css Also have a look at: https://www.elegantthemes.com/blog/theme-releases/divi-performance

Both are probably a good pick :) As for All-Inkl, I think they don't state any of the common resource limits (IO, IOPS, CPU..). At the same time, I have never had any performance issues there and every person I recommended to go there (among others Herr @Amitz ) have been happy so far :) I just recommend not to take…
-
I might just consider them as well. I used them years back when their Germany location was with Contabo and @MikePT was still working there iirc. Performance was stellar and support was fast. Why not give them a try again :) @bikegremlin might be interesting for your resource intensive sites. They have cPanel premium…
-
The last cPanel account I have with them is from friends and I'd rather just leave it as is. At some point, I'll migrate it though, I guess.
-
Good to hear :) Will consider them in the future.
-
I recently saw them being mentioned a couple of times. Not sure how good they are, though.
-
Totally agree. People may have lost reputation with their clients, or business, in general.
-
My favourites will probably be Ramnode (in the hope they are still as rock solid as they were before the switch), the Liteserver.nl sub brand for web hosting (as soon as I remember their name, I will open a ticket and ask for resource limits), german All-Inkl.com, ShockHosting (worth a look, perhaps?) and anything else I…
-
I agree, the per account resources hit hard. I used to actually make use of my reseller there. If I still had multiple active cPanel client accounts there and resources would have been changed to how they are now.. Ouch :/ As for the pricing change, it leaves a sour taste. That is more because it adds to the inconsistency…

Yup, also received the price increase mail @Lee @bikegremlin @vyas
