Technically, that was a release candidate, but it was close enough :)

I don't think that it'll be a problem in the near future, but yeah, perhaps one day it will, but I'm sure that they'll figure something out by then. :)

It would be good to make explicit that the prices are in euros

@ricardo In practice, even if Ricardo is your real name, there are many guys with your name in the world, so it would be hard to identity you even if someone wanted to. In any case, you should think of forums as though they were (archived) mailing lists, which is how people used to discuss topics (and many still do). Or…

It's from Latin, borrowed by English :)

Back then, a Postscript printer was really a sine qua non for straightforward printing under Linux. :)

I don't think that I was aware of Linux-FT, but I recall that the lack of POSIX certification for Linux was viewed by some as a potential issue back then. (I wonder whether there are still people who worry about this.)

Ah, printing under Linux -- this topic has a long and somewhat tortured history. The torture largely stemmed (and still stems) from cheap GDI (Graphics Device Interface) printers (a.k.a. No: mining Ethereum is allowed but it's neither recommended nor not recommended (i.e., there's no recommendation for or against)

I think that the cociu thread on OGF is running out of steam: unless something new happens, there's really nothing more to say, and the risk is that people start repeating themselves

A nice service :) Of course, one would need to trust netcup, I think that I would, but yeah :)

Not so long ago, jsg claimed that he would blacklist any provider that advertised on LES. I argued with him about this, saying that it was a silly thing to do, but he stubbornly insisted that any such provider deserved to be blacklisted. So much for his meaning what he said.

I hope that cociu pulls through this, but the present signs don't look especially encouraging. In particular, if it's true that his perfume business is no longer operating, this may be a worrisome sign.
