It's Dublin in Ireland. If you mean promo in Hong Kong, due to the increasing operational cost we won't be able to provide more regular discounts, sorry.
-
Try Google Cloud?
-
China direct is quite expensive in HK and even you get good enough transit, there are still lots of congestion issues from time to time so we just give up providing China direct in Hong Kong. For China Mobile, our network performance seems to be optimal in some locations but we won't guarantee anything.

Debian 11 is available on Misaka.io too. There is still an outstanding bug of cloud-init but we fixed it via a workaround. Enjoy :-)
-
If it's not very resource-hungry, probably we're able to help.
-
No, just 0.4ms RTT added. We have backbone between these two datacentres so basically you can see them as the same network. Our Ashburn DC is Equinix DC2 and it's quite expensive. Reston is CoreSite VA1 which is cheaper.
-
We do have services in Ashburn DC Campus though the pricing isn't very LE ...
-
Burstnet but they are out of business :-)
-
Just checked your DNS answers and it will always return 2 IPs. One from LAX and another one is from OSL. It seems that you've misconfigured your GeoDNS settings :-)
-
Yes, it's a known issue. I'll fix it this weekend. :-)
-
It's a very weird behaviour to remove the VGA controller when disabling VNC. You can set net.ifnames=0 in kernel options then it will be always eth0. We do it in all Linux VM templates to make life easier.
-
No. We only plan capacity based on allocated resources regardless if it's in use or not. Also, KVM will use a little more RAM than your allocation, and control-plane software also requires RAM, so we usually only allocate < 90% of RAM to customers. For disk space, same reason :-)

Sorry, it's not available in NJ to cost issues. I've edited my reply. Our cost in NJ is a little bit higher than other sites.
-
We have some locations with a $15 / yr or $25 / yr plan. IAD https://www.misaka.io/pricing/mc2/iad03 MCI https://www.misaka.io/pricing/mc2/mci01 For other sites, our regular monthly price starts from $5 or $10, e.g.: JNB https://www.misaka.io/pricing/mc2/jnb01 $10 / mo BGP set up fee is waived for users with active annual…

What do you mean? We don't provide AnyCast IP and you'll need to bring your own IP to set up BGP AnyCast.
-
It has been in production for more than 2 years but hasn't sorted out billing, quota and anti-abuse things for public customers yet. Our current external customers are only xTom and DMIT.
-
Everything is expensive there so I'm afraid we won't have more promos on JNB ... sorry
-
Yes it's worthy but usually we only need it for internal traffic.
-
It's just another name of GeoDNS enabled domains, like constellix's GTD enabled domains. Doing checks consumes more CPU time on edge nodes so we charge it separately. I have no idea how to name it :-(

We do have a filter based on ISO3166-2 but wasn't tested yet, should have time to do it next month. API document is working in progress but we're a API-first service, our web console is also built on the API ... so don't worry, we don't want to use bad API to annoy ourselves.
-
We may have what you need. But the only available filters in production are country, continent and ISP for now. Our AnyCast DNS is tuned properly and have a better latency ins some locations, you can check 188.244.98.1 or our domain misaka.io for testing. Have been too busy working on other projects recently :-(

Out of curiosity, would MT be included in BGP services?
-
was us-east-1 then us-east-2 after the two-weeks-long outage. We've moved to a 3-node cluster in Reston over our own VM platform. So it's a single location.
-
Also please be aware Wasabi's uptime record isn't good compared to B2, S3 or Google. Wasabi was a mandatory dependency of our provisioning system but we moved to self-hosted minio last month to get rid of frequent performance issues and downtime :-(
-
Any test IP?
-
Try Skylonhost if you need Czech :-) @FHR is awesome

iTerm2 here ... Sometimes I use VSCode's terminal instead if I'm debugging code.
-
LOL. Time to move on.

We have a dedicated domain (https://misaka.fail) which uses different DNS and backend storage to provide status page. Our email domain is still using our own DNS service so it may be down when our DNS is fully down, but it's unlikely to happen as we have many locations and robust health check system.
