Wait what? Is it real? The glorious 5$ plan?
-
Might that not be feedback/update enough for you? 2 days ago, seems okish uptodate for me. I believe that he posted additional/other information on LET too, but can't check as it's down right now... Anyway, you're are not obligated to buy this deal. If you're unhappy that the 14 day time frame was not observed, refund is…
-
Does it even matter? I mean, stating "14 days delivery maximum" and then not fullfilling it in these 14 days is kind of a nono, but what do you wanna do? With these prices, HS has literally no competition. However, despite some data loss and/or network outages, he delivers consistently (be careful with your usecase tho,…

From .img to .zip to .iso... Depending on what needed.. If the connection is rather slow then one might only get a minimal version, and not the full blown desktop type. Question is, will you get i386 support as well then? Gave me great laughs, thanks!
-
Wouldn't it be possible to set up some entry servers with good peering to your friends? And those entry servers acces the data somewhere else (eg. where it's stored right now)... Normally servers have better peering than home connections. Though, this would have some drawbacks afaik.. At first you might need tons of…

@atomi You're right! My bad! Missed the 2022 (thought 2021). I got one myself, didn't know 2 year prepayment was possible
-
EDIT: can't read, see the original comment below
-
Oha, that's quite a price difference. Well, I think I'll stick to the overseas machine then. Thanks!
-
A double storage KVM500 in UK would be lovely. Tho, I got one in the US already.
-
Yes, but my question was, without stating it explicitly, meant for the (somewhat common, idk) case, when it takes more than 15 minutes to find and/or resolve the problem. As I said, the text in the OP was confusing, atleast for me. Though, my question has been answered already.
-
Okay, but then how do you answer this? 15 minutes is quite a short time to evaluate and find the problem... How should a ticket be answered then?
-
@AlwaysSkint I wouldn't believe so. But maybe Ant can do something for you, if you're lucky today :)
-
Let me be part of the "fun" forum. I'm in!

Is there any way to test the network performance (eg. looking glass or test files)? 1TB for 25€/y sounds tempting, I would prefer EU/UK tho. But for backup purposes it would be a nice machine... I canceled my NAT bundle weeks ago, so I can't test it myself apparently. Any help is appreciated
-
Do you plan to offer these deals in EU too? I would love to get my hands on a KVM500 without the overseas latency :)
-
I used the last topup in march and the expiry date is the same date as the payment happened. I believe this means no expiry date then.. The funds I have are still valid
-
Sounds interesting... Especially with JP and CH this gets a tad more exotic.
-
The Lifetime Personal VPN is another product, isn't it? Therefore I would believe that this rule shouldn't affect normal deals, including Lifetime Deals. However, for 15 bucks, I would say that such a limit is a fair deal. Bandwidth isn't growing on trees and most users won't need it anyways I guess.
-
The maximum I was able to measure was a bit less than 400 Mbps.. I guess that should be sufficient for most cases
-
I was here 2020™
-
I think you maybe forgot the 50 TB in 50$/TB Anyway Is this really achievable at ever pop? Or is it something like the total available sum wordwide? Logically I'd say that that's a maximum that could be available at one location. Interesting offer. That's a new and different one to the normal hosting offers.
-
Interesting, I did not know that. Another (new) limitation of OVZ. Regardless, I still prefer OVZ over KVM on low ram machines, where only a minimum of services are running, as they are mostly cheaper.
-
I had the same problem on another machine with 256mb ram I am using. Even ssh was not usable and the system hung every couple of seconds. I fixed it by adding 512MB swap. Don't know why it happened, but it fixed the server freezes permanently.

Well, with this little information we can't help much. The client conf looks ok as Sun May 3 23:10:48 2020 /sbin/ip route add 0.0.0.0/1 via 10.8.0.1 Sun May 3 23:10:48 2020 /sbin/ip route add 128.0.0.0/1 via 10.8.0.1 shows that the correct route is routes are added. Have you got ufw / any other firewall installed? How…

Is there a possibility to mount the storage in linux? I haven't found a way after some quick research.. Only via their apps/website

Well, that does look quite good indeed. Unfortunately, VM-x is disabled. Do you know if it could be enabled? Thanks very much for the benchmark
-
Could you do a benchmark, please? Preferably yabs.sh
-
I found it but I don't have an open order.. Well, here goes the storage bonus. Also, your TOS seems weird ^^
-
Has anyone bought it and can provide a benchmark? Would be nice.. Preferably yabs.sh ^^

As always, thanks Andrei 8f08ad5ae7a63f9ae6efb1297c4c9dd9

For debian What about ca-certificates? Are they included in openssh-server already? Because I don't think so I also like htop very much
-
* MrVM * HostHatch * Hetzner * HostSlick with the crazy 9€/y deal * UltraVPS
-
I haven't used it, but I think QubesOS might be a possible solution.. It basically uses Xen as a hypervisor and uses multiple containers to run different operating systems on one hypervisor https://www.qubes-os.org/intro/
-
Sorry my bad I didn't mention the price in my post It costs 48€/y
