Again, depends on provider, does not hurt to ask before experimenting. for e.g. If you use Myw.pt- Mikept is okay with installing Nextcloud. But this was 2 years ago.

Freemium is a standard practice for most ASS er SaaS providers. Should not come as a surprise. Remember MEGA 50 GB free before they dropped to 15 GB? p.s: I signed up for 1024 GB "Free" storage today. They offer additional 1 TB - so upto 2 TB free - through referrals. Clock has started ticking on their lifespan.

Koofr is 10 GB for new accounts. Free So is pCloud. No marketing gimmicks I with Internxt well but the signs point towards a burnout.
