You did not define parameters for uptime. * Duration * Consistency or pattern of network traffic * Provider induced or self inflicted reboots * Network or routing quirks eg. vps accessible via v4 or v6 only My criterion for best uptime is different, where host solutions triumphs.

Folks Closing a business isn’t easy, as some of you may know. I have a difficult call this evening with my accountant on the very topic. Customers, anxiety, employees, bills, reputation, paperwork to fill… lots to take care of. @Mr_Tom , I am sure you considered all possible options before pulling the plug Cheers.

( Agency or Provider, Operating System, Location, ) etc..that may help determine who the YABS is for unless the poster mentions difficult to tell. OS of course will be Linux in almost all cases, the choice of distro may govern the YABS results as the…

This question keeps coming up, thought of sharing this screenshot from a similar table I have on my blog. Probably needs an update with inclusion of @VirtFusion and a couple of other fine options, but answers what you are looking for. Edit: List updated

Super cool. (And jealous) Interesting to note that you could upgrade 2 sticks of RAM- here in India most Thinkpads E, L, ... come with 8 GB soldered + 1 RAM slot. As per OEM specs, mine max'es out 24 GB (16+8). And Officially they support 1.5 TB (500 GB OEM + 1 TB NVMe) storage. What OS do you run? How is the heating/ fan…
