$10 annual for those specs? Wow

Nobody gives a flying fish ??

what can I say

What is the advantage of using he.net dns over other “free” providers?

I agree it is fair, probably with future escalation in hosting (as has been past trend with them) 30 dollars/year could be a procepoint to look at. (current 19.95 + 9.90), For Singapore, and their overall stability, not much to complain. I am seriously pitting that against 30.55 dollars/year Shock Hosting shared, same…

Response from Host mantis when I enquired about moving to DA shared basic (Singapore) from my current plan

Title says "Plugins", here is the non-plugin way: (not my posts!) For shared hosting- cPanel https://www.wpwhitesecurity.com/manual-wordpress-backup-without-plugin/ Making a backup + restore using ssh / cli https://medium.com/@christoph.schmidl/how-to-manually-backup-wordpress-daa43e37a9bd

Was referring to bandwidth and not the technicalities
-
Likewise for Shift8

Interesting … So let me understand: if all images are at maximum size (10MB)… then one can get 1 TB “hot storage” plus approx 1 TB bandwidth at USD 7/month? How does this compare to backblaze etc? Or is that a different thought?

xml import / export, baby! :-) on a serious note, I've been tinkering with cron + rclone + wp-cli. And finding it to be a much more robust option (for VPS of course). For Shared hosting - Updraft Plus > AIOWP for me (in that order)

Cloudflare $5 a month solution for WordPress is an option I was considering once… At similar price point, now they have… Cloudflare Images ($5/month for upto 100,000 images stored, $1/month for 100,000 images served) https://developers.cloudflare.com/images/faq

Back to the topic: What about hosting provider- provided CDN (that's a tongue twister)? 20i and their resellers offer it. https://www.20i.com/cdn I believe they use BunnyCDN. @sonic Not knowing your location Pref the DA base plan is good provide the specs meet what you are looking for.…

Shock Hosting is looking good - not ready to move over ther completely, but in my tests so far (SG) quite robust. HM is still good, yes, in spite of their pricing shenanigans. Then there's Myw.pt. Stable as it gets.

Or maybe it was a hint.. "Enter to win a prize = Enterprize" :-)

You can always use a subdomain hosted on a shared hosting located in Eu as a 'faux cdn' for low traffic site. I use a web folder on a couple of shared hosting sites just for this purpose. For production sites of course, there's a list (Gumlet, Backblaze, Shortpixel,,,)

There are plenty of gullible types who will fall for marketing and affiliate “ganging”. Affa for cloudways rocks (ie rocks the boat) on that front in wp fb groups and other places. HM can follow suit and yet remain profitable

Super! Not to mention Dell was founded by… Michael Dell ( which is what my joke was about). Lovely city, Vienna.
-
Jay and team, Congratulations, Keep rocking
-
Unreasonably high escalations in their pricing but these levels look sustainable. For a business/ Mid end market, they could be a good option given their service levels and performance. They (maybe intentionally?) priced themselves out of the LE market.
-
Michael using Dell products. Perfect !!! Cheers

It is still a three digit GB5 result. Someone had a 2 digit score?? :-)

Gridpane (GP) someone shared it there
