I'd keep an eye on a new motherboard than on a slow external drive.

Does PHP-Friends have an offer for new sign ups?

Very nice, happy birthday. I hope you're not a lady because I wish you were older. :joy:
-
Nice site (content + domain name).
-
Mhnn.. I was expecting a bit more than just a logo on your website when you're creating a thread to show case it. Don't get me wrong but I'm a bit confused right now.
-
This looks good, I like the light theme. Are there more themes on the road or no other new themes planned to be released in the near future? Please enable previews (again?).

I think they did a role back. Now all plans with a longer billing period than monthly get an additional 25% discount: https://my.hostmantis.com/announcements/155/Updated-Pricing-for-2022.html If I'm correct, this must be cheaper than before now. $1 * 25% (increase) = $1.25 and then another 25% additional discount makes it…

Depends on your use case. I'm not running WordPress but mostly vanilla Joomla and self crafted PHP sites and 8 sites of it (10k hits per day, so small sites) use less than 50% of resources. I suppose heavy apps like WordPress will be a cause of resource exhaustion. That's a problem if you have public reselling.

The IPv6 config in Frankfurt is still messy, isn't it?
-
Does this make a change now? https://my.hostmantis.com/announcements/154/Increased-Entry-Processes-for-Reseller-Plans.html I don't think so.

Since you'll have to provide yourself with the option to change your mind at a later time, I'd use this and accept in retrospect or make use of the necessary function to remove already existing cookies.
-
I created my own plugin and limited the clients choice to accept or reject. Everything else too much of a hassle since my website doesn't really require cookies except for remembering the login but this feature is simply not available if cookies are denied.

I can't find a proper link right now but as far as I remember there were similar cases in France which ended with the same result at court: the seller has to be paid This pretty sure translates to many other EU countries too, like Austria or Spain that have comparable strict laws.
-
The immediate suspension only applies when you're overselling (I suppose this means more than Entry limit), that's what their support told me.
-
I'm using a similar setup: Debian for most VPS since it causes less trouble with the hypervisor (like on Xen or certain SolusVM functionalities) and FreeBSD for dedis because it feels like there's less overhead and an overall better/faster and more stable performance.
-
You can install Debian 11 from ISO. Simply click on "CD ROM" in SolusVM (2nd option in the menu where is also hostname, password, network etc.). All you need to do is setup IPv6 manually after the installation finished (note that you may need to increase your network size from /64).

Are there storage nodes in Frankfurt at all?
-
Waiting for the next flash sale on Frankfurt location. Looks really good, all the best it'll be as good as your other locations.
-
Plesk is quite good. Not as good as cPanel but comparable to DirectAdmin imo. All the other panel don't fit business demand well in my experience.
-
Isn't @hosthatch just doing a Singapore sale on the OTG?
-
Is DHCP and SLAAC planned for some time in case we'd like to use an ISO though? Cloudinit is great but if base images aren't frequently updated this can take way more than 60s until the server is ready (incl. the auto updates).

I suppose the problem with freescoute is that its Laravel version is so deprecated that it already differs quite a bit from the recent version so it's difficult for inhouse developers to create add-ons. Additionally, the project owner seems reluctant against any change so nobody wants to collaborate anymore after the first…

The folder way. I added a drop-down on the top right which shows some country flags that have <a href="/en/<?php echo $_SERVER['REQUEST_URI'] ?>" /> to forward to the correct folder.
-
Yes, that's right. I just did the country flag Implementation myself. It's working and that's the main thing. If you happen to have a code kb on your site I'll drop my code there for others (didn't found a forum of your company where to post it).
-
Yes, like maybe adding some country flag drop-down which links the current site to /en/<page> or to /de/<page>? I'd copy the HTML files to the corresponding folder and translate by hand. Having the texts in language files loaded with PHP would be really cool. htaccess regex can be used to map /en/ requests to the matching…
