Thanks for the heads up - hopefully will stay up this time. ;) That's 12/12 VPS now (- likely due to distance from China). That just leaves: * @vyas to get his Transfer * Missing additional two IP addresses on one VPS <-- have to keep shutting it down 'cos it gets started up by 'maintenance'. * rDNS Have been trying to…

Can't get away from football!? :|

Possibly. Just tried it and snappy for me; no issues.

One thinks that one should return to the OGF. :|

I've set the 8-core C2750 to be cancelled at end of billing period. Too slow. Strangely, my cheapo Scaleway 2-core Atom runs OK with Nextcloud. Of course it's not fast but doesn't need to be. Oh well, nothing ventured, nothing gained and I'll keep the OneProvider 2-core Atom as the PBS, which will end up being cheaper than…

Jeez, these Atoms are slooooow. I've given 4cores@75% on the C2750 to a KVM running Nextcloud. It's getting maxed out loads and making me very sleepy. zzzz. It makes me wonder if the dual core i3-530 would be better, with the KVM running on 2x 1/4 cores. :anguished: ( I really miss my $12.50/m Dual Quad Xeon 5420 :'( )

Paris, for me, where currently all three reside.

^ That's close to the results that I got, though my network speed approached 1Gb/s, rather than exceeded it. I didn't complete the geekbench. My server's being hammered just now, syncing datastores from the existing PBS.

LOL. IF I've planned this right, I'll end up with the three servers costing less than the single UnRealServer(s), that leapt from $12.50 to $35/month! Albeit missing a couple of additional IPs that I may add later. So, aye, a spending spree and whilst the effin' dollar to pound rate is so crap. :o Forward planning? Le(t)'s…

This thread (amongst other things) prompted me to buy more STUFF! :o Grabbed from OneProvider: 1 x Atom 8core, to replace the (much loved) UnReal server that nearly trebled in monthly cost. 1 x Atom 2core, to replace an existing existing one, due to the Flash Sale making the monthly cost 3 bucks less. The dual core is a…

Therein lies the main issue; where others follow suit.

Oh look, LES has become LET reincarnate. :'(
 -
SYS = no additional IP at a one-off cost vs. OP = additional IP at a typical provider's fee. (If important at all to you.)

Now some good news, for a change.. My titchy Dallas VPS is alive again! Yay! From the mod that gave us YABS. Thanks @Virmach !

That's what I done the 1st time and regretted it due to the disc layout. Subsequently, I boot debian, then add Proxmox. :) (Debian would replace CentOS completely in what I suggested above.)
 -
Dunno if you load from ISO, or as I prefer, boot debian and per-configure partitions etc. Boot debian from CentOS - a piss about but possible? ;)
 -
Interesting; poor Virmach is still working through dedis - that'll be hampering progress elsewhere. (I do hope that additional IPs will materialise - one can but hope.)

                Hi! :D
 -
I have the same situation on a different node (it was auto migrated Buffalo->NYC). The answer(s) from Virmach haven't been encouraging at all and there's a distinct possibility that they won't be reinstated. :astonished: :'( [RYZE.ATL-Z007.VMS appears to be as dead as a can o' Spam, for about a week.]

Plus TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) doesn't need a high education attainment level. ;) Few 'master' English (self included) and it's a continual learning process.

What d'ya mean by that, eh? :p /jk

@rhinoduck Thanks for being a good neighbour. ;)

I guess it depends on the node. Was a Buf->AMS. After an initial hiccup, mine's been stable: Since last reboot, for kernel update. Steal around 1%. [Edit] On AMSD029 AMD Ryzen 9 3950X 16-Core Processor
