Major league, there. ;) I have hazy memories of Solaris/AIX/HP-UX.
-
Wisnae me! ((A big boy done it and ran away)) @cybertech started it, heh. :| [[I just need the search engines to latch onto the new site, now.]]
-
BTW, I'm using the nightly build of TinyCP (unusually for me). I got a wee problem with the repo suggestion, which I forgot about. Once done, PHP was fine. .. should then work. (Change stretch to buster, depending on debian version.) System, Package Manager shows php-redis for me, along with Web, PHP options. Also check in…

Hence the alternative download. It's a niche use for the ISO, not suitable for general purpose machines. (I deliberately didn't put the direct link here) Thanks @yoursunny , you prompted me to post a header warning that the ISO is not for general use. (No push-ups were involved in the making of it. :p )

@cybertech Thanks for stirring me along - got my site updated extensively from the original hand-written HTML pages. :) Filling up the storage quickly, though there'll be plenty room. For others, just do a 'net search for "toshiba click mini linux" and I'll bet my site appears (very) near the top.

Running it on a Virmach 256MB RAM 10GB HDD $3.75/yr VPS. It's consuming around 100MB RAM, with Apache and PHP running. It currently still has 8GB storage available. Debian 9 installed. Supports multi-PHP, which includes redis support, with one click. You'll probably need to apt install redis-server. (I haven't figured out…

Will @Ant switch from € to £ ?
-
Always thought there'd be more life to be had with tape by using different substrates. That's a colossal density!
-
I want to see munin charts, if/when you get it running!
-
@Ant You've got too much time on your hands. I need to find another awkward migration for ya! :p
-
It has been a dual identity (ControlWebPanel) for at least a year. ;)
-
Of course, it's a money grab. Discovered too many people run CentOS rather than RHEL, especially as cPanel can run both. Their timing is crap though: should've done this before cPanel raised their prices. :# CentosWebPanel have touted they will fork a "stable" RHEL. Feck that! Background: They don't have a clue what stable…
-
Yup, you read my mind! :-)
-
I've been running CL for a few years, to support older PHP on cPanel. Gotta say that I ain't keen - there's a big overhead involved, in file structure/space and running resources.
-
Done
-
Non docker=less extra crap installed and you get to understand stuff 'under the hood'. IMHO
-
Nyr's tag OG=OpenVPN God ;)
-
Total awesomeness! :-D Many Thanks. Early Chrissie Pressie <3 (I've been muchos busy setting up the new server from @AnthonySmith )
-
Yeah. Had a light bulb moment. Someone got a bargain!
-
The problem is: how to order them! Open the advent and no link to order - try clicking on it and the advent closes. :-/ (i'm so dumb!)
-
Been there; got the T-shirt already! ;)
-
The deals were just TOO GOOD. Had to be done. Thanks @AntFish (c) Deank
-
Damn! Had to renew my annual before 30th Nov. :'( Great deals.
-
OK, OK I get it. It was late: haste ye not! Inception Hosting Order Number: 7152213771
-
Inception Hosting: Invoice 76754 Ant edit: because I can, I will pop the actual order number in for you: 7152213771 :)
-
Ya got me! Smallest one, to replace the similar spec. monthly one that I have. Thanks. (It was the chicks that done it!) ((Got Ant's tyypo disease))
-
Cracking deal, so much so it'd be rude for me not to try it out. I've also passed details onto one of my clients.
-
Looks like they've changed it to apply only to the 10 devices licence or Unlimited devices.
-
You rang! :anguished:
-
I reported the scammy behaviour of one of the providers on WHT (also on LET; recent adverts) and commented on one of their offers. Was basically told to piss off by a moderator. Think that was about 3 years ago now. Meh, ain't missing out, methinks.
-
Incredible. "Ain't half been some clever b'stards" :-) At least my Dragon was a little bit quicker.
-
I think I read here, or on the dark side, that the Virmach transfers were less stringent these days. I never did get any takers one the two that I had unused from last year. ;)
-
We may have to wait. ;)
-
Dallas one sounds interesting for me - would make for a nice wee nameserver. :)
