What are you expecting for a free service?
-
If I didn't posted that, maybe the subsequent things wouldn't happen? But I posted that because I care about my data privacy. :( Honestly, this is not what I hope it become. I am really hoping HostDoc can really take it seriously because I am slightly disappointed that this has not fixed and I don't know how many people…

@uptime Am I the bad guy here?

But I don't think Mike know about that code :joy:

You have something for me in SG? :)
-
Same, was about to move production there but seems like not possible anymore.

Not that I am surprised by this, but I trusted you. I hope some of you guys are happy now. I doubt any other providers can match any of my deals as a refugee offer. It was great while it lasted. (cross-posted)

Thanks for the suggestion and wishes! How about with IPv4 :joy:
-
$10 is too high. $2.99/yr for me.
-
I am trying to reduce my idling collection :( I cant believe how you guys can still keep your spending on hosting so low even though you bought machines like this.
-
Did a diff, it is VMX :D

I think this is what he refers to: https://github.com/Nordstrom/serverless-artillery

Nextcloud is great, but the E2E encryption is very broken. At one point I am kinda frustrated that I feel like building my own lol, but mainly I just want to build a simple E2E encrypted photo albums for friends and families, with web platform, native Android and iOS apps.
-
Manual copying works but not sure about any automated way, especially syncing new files only. Maybe there are some extensions in NextCloud that can do that. In addition, I don't think the performance will be great for lots of files.
-
I believe NextCloud can do that well? It allows mounting of FTP/SFTP.
-
Tip 4: Use FatPal.
-
$2.99/yr for everything. That's my budget limit.
-
I understand that and I can see that NexusBytes is one of the best new providers in my opinion :) I talked with him a few times and his perspectives are quite special. The way he treats his customers are just fantastic. Don't take my words too seriously sometimes, I am just bringing the hype and emphasising that deal haha.…

@deank @Janevski @seriesn Thanks for nominating me however I am usually more interested in organising events, reducing spams and shills instead. I don't really like to solve cases when there are heated arguments, especially when it involved respected members. I consider myself as not objective enough so pretty sure there…

@corbpie Your vote might not be counted because @AnthonySmith mentioned that it closed at 1/1/2020 12am UK time, but it is almost 3am UK time now.

I can confirm I got my free VM :)

Sorry but where is $2/yr deal?
-
I don't think you can get premium / optimised bandwidth at low end price. If you happen to get it, a lot of people will start ordering it, and I am pretty sure it will be blocked in a few days.

Sometimes we forgot to treat the one closer to us well. There are not a lot of providers that care more about existing customers but from this topic I can see @seriesn is one of them :) I am not a fan of relatively better recurring deals for new customers only (one-time discount is fine). I understand it is a way to…
