then its np, if its worth necro'ing then do it, if you did it not noticing it was old, no rule will change that :) and its easy to fix.
-
Why would you necro post?
-
The problem with being specific is that it allows grey areas "But you did not specifically say", "Where is the specific rule against" If your posting an update on an ancient post, you are doing 1 of 2 legitimate things, making a mistake.. ok no problem easy solved with simple moderation tools, posting an update that makes…
-
Covered in rule 1. :)
-
Well if your going to use common sense and logic i dont want to take part in this conversation.
-
You know the truth of that dont you? The cluster was actually fine, the issue was that for 3 years or so no one noticed that once of the disks was at 100% which is why sometimes when you updated your avatar it worked and sometimes it did not, depending on which server you hit haha.
-
It runs on my own infrastructure so I just update the ram and disk specs in the backed as required, I can probably do that and resize the partition faster than a dedi can even reboot :)

The fluxbb (old LES support forum) runs on: * 1 x 64mb NAT OpenVZ container running debian 8 - this is running lighttpd only * 1 x 128mb NAT OpenVZ container running debian 8 - this is running mysql only This forum (vanilla) Specs in the original post, running on Ubuntu 18 LTS, I used one of my own made ubuntu templates…

I agree, I was just feeling fruity when setting this up so stepped outside the box, I wanted bleeding edge (well compared to centOS anyway)
-
Ah ok, I make my own KVM templates, so I don't need to worry about that.
-
just for you :) Virtuozzo 7 does not bind the kernel version of the host to the container like OpenVZ 6 did. I mean it is just a psudo kernel version anyway it just tracks the distro current version and displays it in the container you still use the host nodes kernel but now at least software does not complain about…
-
Well that's odd. lemme increment the theme version (need to figure out how) and I will ask you to check again.
-
Ah ok, clean your cache :) I will do the theme version update actually to force everyone's cache to update as many will be missing out on fixes and theme updates.
-
* lets see if we get any offers at all posted first, if they need to be separated out I will, someone already mentioned domains, they will need their own category, that is not avoidable. * I had no idea, so if you dont confirm your email address you cant PM? * Agreed. * Agreed. If the community survives and is viable…
-
Ok will take a look in to that.
-
:o how rude, whats wrong with the favicon! Ok logo I get. :)
-
Because LET uses an old version of vanilla that has gaping security holes patched up by their annoying cloudflare WAF config, they basically still use Windows 2000 :)
-
I have had a look, added to the long term fix list, the sub community is a new feature of vanilla and it looks like they have put references in regardless of you having it enabled or not which is the problem so I will consider that a longer term bug or will likely be fixed in future minor vanilla release.
-
eh? not sure if serious or?

@teamacc I think I will be doing things a bit more efficient than just a general mod role (if this place lives long enough for it to matter). Back in the 'good ole days' forums had mod roles and it worked really well, I wont get in to the deep ins and outs but for example you would be assigned a scam hunter role, someone…
-
Fixed the padding. I will put out a general call for mods when required, with a small community though, I can manage for now :)
-
I am obviously doing a good impression of someone that knows what they are doing, just google-fu! (and help from @Solaire )
-
That is the lowEndSpirit
-
That sounds like fun :+1:
-
hows that?
-
oh yeah, wonder why thats not standard, will do some research to see how to do that.
