Its 500GB transfer, like if you have pushed over 500GB you are not '"just testing it" and understandable that a refund is no longer applicable.
-
That’s about $1.50 /TB if paid for 3 years, nice!
-
tl;dr bit ninja is a closed ecosystem that provides no actual evidence of abuse and considers many things as abuse that simply are not just to boost stats, every DC I use has now essentially blacklisted bitninja abuse reports because they create a lot of work without providing real proof of anything and are essentially a…

Interesting, maybe they messed up as it did seem to discount it when I first looked as well as the IPv4, maybe human error, maybe that's why they went out of stock for a while.
-
Does not bode well then :( I will give it a test tomorrow I got the 300-ext today. If I can get 200 meters outdoor unobstructed that will be great
-
Wow, who would have expected that!
-
Have you had to test the range yet?
-
Will do that in the morning.
-
Wow well played sir!
-
It is not disabled no. By default, no OS is installed, what may be happening is that you may have caught one of the debian auto-updates perhaps? that sets root login as no, but that is fairly simple to resolve via vnc, I appreciate it is a pain to put the password in via VCN but this is only required once in this situation…

If you use the coupon code its only 50% though? Anyway my plan is to first test xen on arm and try some tiny little xen nat boxes and then give up on that very quickly and install amibian on it and have a nice commodore Amiga remote desktop to play amiga games on... why? because I can.
-
Split from the pit, great find, bought one myself. Worth noting that the 50% discount applies to any extras as well.
-
They work, I have 3 foot thick stone walls from the 1700’s in the original part of my house that just gobble up WiFi like a back hole, if power line adaptors did not exist I would have had to move :)
-
Well there is the exact problem with whmcs, the last 4 major versions have been centred around the interface with a heavy lean towards visual aesthetic over function substance and actual practicality of use, hostbill has some excellent features that truly help build your business, features that have been on the whmcs…

Well i was looking it up and read someone saying that they had both the 150 and the 300, they said the 150 is pretty good but the 300 eats it for breakfast in terms of range so I figured for the extra £10 why not.
-
have you considered a powerline adaptor with wifi?
-
Did you report this or is there a known fix? Sounds like something that could bite you in the ass later. My only block on doing this now despite the great offer of a managed migration from hostbill is that I have been running WHMCS since v4 and have been upgrading a single install all those years so who knows what will…
-
Oh good point I need another firestick
-
Yep, got 8gbp off ish for prime day.
-
Few questions: * Was this the managed migration service hostbill offer or an automated script? * What sort of products were migrated? * Do you mean that if at any point the original price changed e.g. you did a deal or changed plan manually, the old original price is the one brought into hostbill? in which case this should…

I bought the gl-ar300m-ext @Ympker I will test it’s factory range on WiFi first then add a yagi like antenna if required, could save having to maintain a seperate solar setup if I can just extend the base range :) if it’s no better than the current router it’s still a nice to have bit of kit :)
-
There is no mains power there, I have an invertor but running that 24x7 is not ideal. I don’t mind replacing the usb packs every 3 - 6 months, they are not expensive. Tbh I am now considering just hacking a yagi omni antenna into the thing @Ympker suggested just to get better range from base.
-
I don’t think I have it in me tbh, I did a 300 meter drainage trench and the thought of doing another 200 makes me sad, needs to be deep because... horses. I considered a few smaller ones but that essentially adds up to the same wattage or there abouts and just a ton of cable. Imagine a square 500 meters by 500 meters…
-
That looks perfect, I might get the one with the little 2dbi attached as it’s only a couple of quid more, can’t find any info on the range but I guess 60 meters out door should be possible.
-
Not possible sorry.
-
Under different circumstances I would have been standing side by side with you calling bullshit haha.
-
I don’t think that is a price I can match, is that the ideal plan for you? I could double the disk space but it would still be double the price you quoted at lease (not done an actual check yet) Bit tough on clouvider network to hit the ultra budget side while also offering nightly backups to a seperate disk array.
-
It was a one-off.

I said it was fine, can also confirm OP is a long term customer so I don't anticipate any issues.
