I followed through with that and switched to virtualizor about 4 years ago, I started the move with the serversnv brand, it was such an ongoing nightmare that brand is now gone, solusvm is basic in terms of features, it is worlds apart in terms of stability. edit: it might have been more than 4 years, I lose track of time.

ah fair point, I never offered reseller accounts either so maybe I should just shut my pie hole :)
-
Also, I have not made a big deal of this but cPanel have totally arsed up my pricing significantly in my favour since switching from Buycpanel when they bought them. I don't plan on being the one to tell them :) Also my yearly license only expired a few months ago so it really has not impacted be at all until very recently…

well its an exclusive offer I guess and could be a loss leader or limited stock, I don't know and not enough info to speculate but I do know I am sure the people that got the deal are happy and that's all that counts eh! :) :+1:

its a 3900 so 24 threads 4 x threads per $10 = $60 /month ($75 if extra $2.50 for ryzen upgrade as suggested) total revenue for the whole node which is less than cost so I think there is some confusion there, but I dont know with only limited information. there is "dedicated" and there is "use it to 100% 24x7 but it is…

This is essentially it in simple terms. @Francisco out of interest and don't answer if you think its none of my business I understand, do you expect this to be particularly popular or is it just a USP for the more advanced users?

gotcha. My best guess and based on my own business, it only actually works out at $0.10c per customer per month extra, I would like to hope that 90% of us have at least $1.20 per year profit built in and because we all know that the big boys have "special deals" we are too scared to be the first to price hike and we are…

What sort of Ryzen, also is that actually cores or threads? Please also keep in mind the example above the Ram, the hard disk IOPS and the link are also dedicated.
-
ah ok, you mean that generally, people look for bigger VPS because you get better specs usually than a low end dedi. got it.
-
Are you saying you would be more interested in this if it was Ryzen based?
-
Sorry I might be thick, I do have a migraine starting, but I read that twice and am not 100% sure I understand? Essentially you are wondering why nothing has changed much price-wise for shared hosting in general or why prices have not changed much for cpanel specific hosting?
-
that is a very different thing.
-
yes, it really is dedicated essentially a semi-managed dedicated server with root access. Just an example spec though.

locked.
-
Is that NAT?
-
@MikeA mentioned something about a great deal on a 16GB Ryzen based VPS server in Utah.
-
On a VPS?

most are E3-1270v6, a couple of E3-1270v5's

This. Laws are one thing, the odds of getting conviction even with evidence is another.

Actually that information came from the Police and was the reason they decided ultimately not to pursue it, words to the effect of "Due to the law enforcement being almost none existent regarding underaged pornography on the internet being hosted by some of that country but not the content not being in that country the…
