I don't think there will be any magic bullet for 61 million rows short of a complete database redesign to separate them out, I would say your best bet is better caching so the table runs in ram. Perhaps someone like @joepie91 or @Francisco can give a better answer.

For this one I suggested strongly that you buy what you want and plan for the future as the stock for the ssd cached nodes is always highly limited, I have had to refuse people upgrades in the past because of this. The short answer is, it depends on stock.
