It needs someone like SM to make a stand which given that that have not done so up to this point suggests that they never will until it actually hurts their bottom line.

I am so annoyed I am lost for words.

That’s just the last 30 days, it’s closer to 19k now in total

It does not need 2GB, it was running on 512mb just fine however it was causing noticeable slowdowns of the site during the regular backup cycle. I upped it to 1GB over Christmas, no ram related issues since it avg around 600mb ish now. I had to upgrade the disk space though as it kept touching 100% use during the backup…

Fantastic news that they have an import feature planned and with WHMCS being part of the same company the automation of that side has no doubt been considered as well. That is the big thing that lets the solusvm import function in virtualizor, it does a VERY bad job on the WHMCS side.

Well personally I think it would be hypocritical to run this forum on anything more than could be bought within the budget in the rules for the forum, any again personal preference I would rather that was on the lower side of the budget :)

Yup and 2 cores burst.

After todays small upgrades, I hope that is as far as it needs to go, it seems for anything multi user production the 2GB mark really is required these days :(

No, thank you @trollfeet.

Well initially I just span up a 512mb plan for speed and simplicity and frankly I had no idea that this would take off like it did. Being someone who still genuinely holds the values of LE* I like to do more with less :) Hind sight is the worlds greatest super power though. I upgraded the forum ram over Christmas it now…

haha no I am good thanks :) :+1: the forum runs on a VPS, the VPS only has 5GB storage, I am going to push the boat out and give it 20GB!!!!!

Indeed, I am excited to see what plesk ultimately include in .io that adds value to customers, I just hope as it expands it becomes a modular licensing module like $6 p/core baseline, $10 for SAN/cluster features etc , extra €2 p/core for their admittedly market leader in wordpress automation, if they add in things like…

If $6 p/month per core is what gets me to a Vultr/hetzner cloud style end user experience I am ok with that. If $6 per core is a rewritten v1 then no thanks, I already know that this is not the plan/case but you never know what the end product will actually look like. I don’t think they will touch v1 pricing and I don’t…

Well I read that somewhere, and it certainly was not LET, either way, yes that's not how that works.
-
You cant :) it is more likely to be 2nd or 3rd.

lol yeah, I should catch myself on before saying that. Yep probably until summer tbh unless the right deal comes along from @funkywizard or @Clouvider that simply cant be turned down, I have some spare NVMe and sata drives at clouvider london so you never know. I am sorting out big changes this month and early march with…
