ok seems the majority are fine with $7 p/m obviously that can be exceeded in the les exclusives offer section.

Ok had a look, it is still xt_string which is loaded on the host node. Did some reading, not much new info available but it looks like this used to be a common issue on vz6 too, unloading xt_string and then reloading it via probing for ipt_string was the suggested solution. I have now done that and can see that xt_string…

@Lee it’s a reimagined version of let without cc ever having been involved.
-
I will have a look into what is missing tomorrow.

I have covered this a few times, mods will be paid they will also have specific roles instead of being general, I may also keep them anonymous to avoid animosity, not 100% decided on the last part yet. Basically you will know who covers what and who to contact for anything report worthy, if they don’t perform they will be…

Keep in mind that the les exclusive offers function would allow for higher pricing anyway and the no yearly deals for companies trading less than 2 years applies across the board anyway for all posts in the offers category.
-
Let’s discuss.
-
It’s just a config file on the host node, I could make it say kernel version 10.69.69-amitz if I wanted :)
-
Shoot me a PM there are no mods atm, I am in a shit state but I am keeping an eye on things, perhaps not as often as I would like atm but I can’t help that.
-
Ok, I am looking in to it anyway, it took 22 minutes here which included the time to create a swap file, which for first run i dont think is so bad. I know you probably did check but you are using the virtio driver not the ide?

I would suggest booting it in to rescue mode and see if you get the same issues. I appreciate this node will never win performance of the year awards for speed or consistency but what you are seeing is very odd and not typical, I suspect you may need to start disabling things selinux for example and start rolling stuff…
-
I really cant explain that, I am seeing some variable results but nothing even close to that. I will PM you with the login details of the tiny little 512mb test VPS above on the same node so you can check yourself.
-
I will run up a test VPS on the same node, and do some testing here.

For performance VPS hosting 10 For storage VPS hosting 5 or 6 With NVMe or even sata SSD I guess, 1 or 10 over 5 5 = more storage but slower 10 = better performance, less storage.

7 - 10 days.

I was thinking more like a little crown at the start of the tags with roll over text e.g. 'Peoples host of the year 2019' need to wait for @Solaire or @phill to see if that is possible, otherwise I will use a tag.

Closed at OP's request.

What actual impact is it having, I see you said the performance makes it unusable, but what specifically is unusable? The web ui? I am asking because I have had a number of people complain and when it all gets down to brass tacks it is because they bought it to run as not a storage service, rather than needed a cheap kvm…

@MikeA just shout up or flag if you want a clean up, few people have flagged it but it all looks like healthy conversation to me.
-
maybe start drawing 3 people with 24 hours to respond each?
-
I would appreciate that a lot.

Voting will close at the strike of the new year UK time, any votes after that will not count. I may need a little while to go through the votes though hopefully results within a few days, I am not on top form atm.

Working on it, the old forum was dedicated to the NAT VPS service only, this one is different so its a pointless comparison.

Yes I have noticed, caused by 4 issues The migrated containers are riddled with issues caused by the migration/conversion process. A whole host of new things cause kernel panics on openvz7 again that had been resolved on 6 towards the end of its life. Solusvm put very little effort in to OpenVZ 7 support so config files…
