Do love some of the stuff on StackSocial No, even though you say it is for 'all levels' you absolutely will not teach me how to draw that tiger like it is in the picture in just one hour. Even if I did happen to have just 6 pastel pencils lying around.
-
In honesty, I don't use the bulk of the features either, it has just always been and easy to use. Don't mind the UI. I just noticed some different names being mentioned recently, clouddns and others, just wondered if I was missing out on something that may be of benefit that people were using something else. DIY is fine,…

Saw this message on their site.

Having played with it all a bit more in the last hour, actually quite impressed with what they have done. Looking forward to seeing it out there once released.

I have had a quick play about with it, it is not a LE* product at $5 per core that is for sure (I think it's worth more than that and I am sure the price will go up) so I suspect as @Francisco said earlier SVM1 will remain although you will likely see a 2 or 3 times increase to the price. They know they have the budget end…
-
The answer is that providers know it is there, have looked at it and said, no.
-
Why isn't everyone ditching SVM1 for that then?
-
Yup, MXRoute, just works, no drama. Not pay as you go but I am sure there are deals out there.
-
Cause he's tight.

https://feedback.directadmin.com Useful, now we can get the feature requests in or at least get a clear view of what is in the works.
-
HTML, let's face it, hard enough getting people to an interesting page never mind a PDF of your terms.
-
I have been doing that a lot lately, just the slightest slide of the finger returns the number not the letter.
-
No, I'm not.
-
This, whilst everyone is complaining about the price, the opportunities are overlooked. The segment that providers (like you) who predominantly operate in the lower end of the market are missing out on due to control panel functionality is a significant one. Those that want backups, snapshots, SSH key integration, install…
-
Indeed, that is why there are so many alternatives out there.
-
It's like cPanel though, they are not going to provide you with the software that does the bulk of the work for you at a price that allows you to sell services in bulk at a $1. They are moving away from that, accept it.
-
Will be interesting to see how it plays out, I can't see them making it that easy even if SVM1 remains, more like near parity so it leaves no option but to convert, it's all about the money now after all.
-
So, get everyone in, sunset SolusVM, increase to $10+ per month, per core? But again, depends on the final feature set as to whether it has a value at that price point. But ultimately what are you going to do, if there is no other real option.
-
So I guess it depends on whether it will offer enough value to justify that. Must be way cheaper than something like onapp? Although no idea what their pricing is now.
-
For the technical preview, I meant a finished product ready for use.
-
When are they predicting it will be released?
-
In that playlist, nothing.

It's 22/2/2020, just saying.

He didn't, I called him out for that on LET. He said he reported it via a 'phone call', that is not how the ICO works.
-
Agreed, definitely good within the EU.
-
I agree actually in the last couple of months Hetzner network has been up and down, not sure OVH is the answer though.
