That's pretty cool!
-
Correct, around the 50eur mark. I'm not sure. I know IPv4 subnets can't be moved between DCs but never had the need to move an IPv6 subnet.
-
For a one off fee Hetzner will give you a /56 which allows you to give each VPS it's own /64.
-
Our storage server offer is still valid if any of those suit your requirements. These are located in Finland, EU.
-
Proxmox is open source, but probably falls short on expected panel features. OpenStack has it's horizon dashboard but I can't comment too much on this from lack of experience.
-
What sort of specs and management?
-
We do NVMe + HDD on Ryzen but mainly on our managed line at the minute. And they're in DE only currently.
-
I changed mine before and then just added it to the list of inbound ports in the CSF config page in DA.
-
The E3 has ECC ram, Ryzen supports it but it's an aditional 5EUR/month. Plus the setup fee.
-
@Clouvider might have something on offer close to those specs? If it's a bit more it's well worth it for the service.
-
Sounds interesting. As has been mentioned it might be a good way to get feedback on offers as well as working out what people are actually looking for.
-
Only as a one off. And they add it as an additional subnet, so you get the original /64 and the /56.
-
Agree with @seriesn - we use a branded version but if I was doing some major customisation then probably unbranded. I work on the theory that anyone who is familiar with the systems will figure out what it is anyway so no point trying to pretend it's not.
-
The NVMe side of things is almost ready - but as I've been tied up with that amonst other things I've not really thought about HDD/storage side of things in the US yet ;)
-
We do a managed NextCloud option, or a one of setup fee on the storage servers. Can also do a hybrid NVMe/HDD setup which should offer faster speeds if you've got a very busy NextCloud setup - the downside is they're EU at the minute.

Cheers! That looks ideal. I normally take a copy via FTP and MySQL and then reimport into new server. Partly out of stubborn-ness as I don't like adding plugins for stuff that I can do myself lol.
-
Can anyone advise a good plugin to take a database dump or for taking a complete copy of a site including database? I've got to create a "dev" version of a site and only been given wp-admin login and FTP details. Not familiar with any of the plugins like this as always had MySQL access in the past lol. My preference would…

Are you still looking for locations? I can help out with UK/London if required.

Yes, where is the LES IRC?
