I guess the same could be achieved just connecting to the server via VPN, like Wireguard.
-
Does this work if you have no ipv6 connection at all? The SSH thing.
-
Congrats. Another prem location, I bet!
-
That's a nice box for the price. You got a good deal.
-
What's the price tag on that box @cybertech?

Yeah, I'm trying to get one but it is out of stock for me as well.
-
On that topic, how do you guys handle your ssh keys? I have several servers, but one key per client is starting to become a hassle.
-
Perhaps. I originally paid $24 for Ivacy. I'm closing on a year with them with good reliability and average support. Keepsolid was $15. $24 for one year is not bad at all, if they deadpooled by tomorrow, which seems unlikely. If I get one year out of KeepSolid I'd be happy as well. Of course, I'd be happier if I got…
-
Holy shit that's something else with their current pricing.
-
Me neither :( But that's a good sign of a sustainable LTD. One that stays there for a while and then vanishes forever.
-
Hoping KeepSolid will get better with unblocking overtime since Wireguard is great for my phone. Although I have LTD for boths, so as long as they keep working, that will suffice. Still waiting for a SURPRISE LIMITED TIME FLASH DEAL on the Windscribe Lifetime, but I guess it won't happen again. Also I almost got 3yrs for…
-
I would Ivacy is more mature for unblocking. Wireguard is the shit, but the unblocking servers for VPNUnlimited were unbearably slow last night when I was trying to watch Funimation. I will keep looking, but for evertyhing else VPNUnlimited seems better.

Didn't matter, did it? hahaha

I ended up not paying Hetzner for over a month (31 days to be exact) - I don't usually do that, but my employer was late on my payments as well - and they were very lenient and didn't cancel my server. Funnily enough, they send me the second invoice (for the month I was currently in). Although I would not recommend anyone…
-
Out of stock. Will it be returning any time soon? I was on the road and couldn't buy :(
-
Hi @Ympker I used to have Getflix when it did unlock Netflix. Do you know if this one unlocks Netflix UK? For that I'm currently running Windscribe, but I have it only for one year, unfortunately.

Hello @poisson, any reason why you don't consider Contabo reliable enough to be in your whitelist? I know they have some weird stuff, like limiting read/write speeds on their SSDs, but people noticed that they usually lift the limits if you ask them. Thanks for the great job, I love your website.
-
Oh, that's nice. Mine is in Finland, if yours is in Germany it might have a better routing here (the routing is still average I'm pretty far from EU). I actually actively requested a server and got a reply in less than 1 day. The guy even gave the server like 8-10 days before the next invoice, so I got a few days to test…
-
Doesn't work with the Windscribe 3yr deal. CMSAVE40 works, though. And the price stays the same that you mentioned.
-
I think that is the most important point that I'd need to take from your comment is if I'm looking to save money, I'd be saving more if I'm not paying for an idle service for months or years, like you mentioned. If I feel that I will ever need more stuff I'd just buy when needed, because no deal is gonna save more money or…
-
I don't mind that, to be honest. I don't like the idea of needing to type multiple 20 character passwords if I happen to be on a place where I cannot access my Seafile instance. I feel like I need a certain balance between security and convenience.
-
Yes, exactly. I gave up instantly after I started reading about it in depth. Not worth the time.
-
Yeah, I thought about that too. Only issue is that I have ALL MY PWD in my Bitwarden self hosted instance and I'm gonna be honest, I don't do export backups very often, so I rely a lot on it. Although I've noticed that I can keep using it for awhile even if the server is offline, I just don't know how long. If I were to…

I actually have even paid the first month of my dedi, got a lucky transfer from some nice guy on the old forum. Yes, after coming to LE* I kinda became addicted in owning VPSes, I don't know why. Now that you've mentioned, the UltraVPS 4GB (now I'm sad I didn't get the 8GB one), Avoro 6GB and Contabo (I know some people…
