• Hmm... not enough imagination. I wrote "use the server with a VPN", not as a VPN. Server connects to VPN and all traffic goes through the VPN tunnel. The public IP becomes the one of VPN (like NordVPN), not exposing IP of server, thereby protecting the provider. Data can afterwards be downloaded from server using SFTP…
