That's some great offer there @seriesn :) So does the free VPS for life persist even when the other two are cancelled after one month? I actually didn't want to spend more money on VPS and also not sure if I want to exploit such a generous offer but asking just in case I am not as ethically aware after some cerveza anymore…

Whatever is happening in here, it's time to go.

Gotta love WS server names :D @Amitz this smth for u huh?
-
I am happy with WS Pro for all its' extra gimmicks and features like ROBERT, Port Forwarding, personal whitelist/blacklist and cool features of the Windows client. Speeds are okay but for sure not the highest I have seen among VPN providers (Ivacy, FastestVPN, or VPN Unlimited sometimes are faster). Although, on WS Discord…

I hardly ever get emails from them, or I would have missed them.

I have yet to experience a Fire TV VPN app that isn't buggy unfortunately. Ivacy, Fastest, VPN Unlimited didn't work without being buggy. For anything unblocking I use SmartDNS on Fire devices. You could install WS Windows app and enable "vpn hotspot" and connect FireTV to that wifi :)
-
I wouldn't know, I use WS Pro :P

Seems fair :)

Gotcha Boss :D

I am thinking about the likes of All-Inkl.com . One of my first and favourite shared hosts although they use an inhouse control panel. They offer a Hotline from 9:00-24:00 for the cheapest plan and after that 24h Hotline. The chealest plan includes free domains already, further plans even more. They respond swiftly to…

If we want to stick to Lowend that's okay, I guess. Any plans to make a place for somewhat more expensive managed offers in the future? Not that I have anything in mind right now, just that back when I offered hosting on LET I'd appreciated it if there was a way for especially "premium" (bad word, couldn't find a better…

I can confirm this.

I've got 5. It's concurrent devices, so depends on your usage. If it's only used by you, 1 device should be fine but if you gonna use it on multiple devices concurrently 5 is better.
-
Thought I'd mention it in case you were looking at the price of the actual Ivacy site :)
-
Thanks for the offer mate, but I don't participate in the referral program of Stacksocial atm. Make sure to get your 5 year sub through Stacksocial though, since you'll be paying more on the Ivacy website: https://stacksocial.com/sales/ivacy-vpn-5-year-subscription Coupon code "DN40" could still work iirc.
-
The cool thing with VPN Providers as opposed to a single VPS is that they usually replace not working IPs with something that works though. At least for Netflix US odds are Ivacy already did so a few times.
-
Ivacy unblocks US,UK Flix. If you are looking for FR though, I am not too sure.
-
I meant Mailchimp. My bad. Typo :scream: @AnthonySmith Could you edit the title and OP and exchange Mailchannels with Mailchimp please :)
-
Did you give https://headwayapp.co a try? :)
-
It's meant for changelogs but for pushing important notifications could work just the same: https://headwayapp.co/ Although I use Discord, it feels crowded with channels (I have joined like 80 and I hate the fact) so I wouldn't use it as an emergency status page. I think Twitter wouldn't even be bad if just for notifying.…

I especially like the 4 cores. Usually Netcup throws something with like XX RAM at you but only like 1-2 cores.
-
Find a provider that matches the specs? I'd reckon there aren't that many reputable ones :)

PHPFriends Winter Special 4 Cores 10 GB RAM 160 GB SSD 1 Gbit/s 8€/month Order: Click

On the register: MyW @MikePT Not on the register: Hostmantis (for performance and stability, not because I like them very much)

The parcel that arrived is for their winter special.

Getflix supports Amazon Instant Video which presumably is referring to prime as well. Note though, that for prime US it's necessary to have a paid Prime account from the US. Unlike Netflix you can't have an EU Prime account and watch Prime US just by changing your region ip.

I think forcing SSL wouldn't be an issue. What the guys don't feel well about (including me) is that they use their "custom hardened HTTP" connection while they should be using HTTPS. Going with that people would assume there'd be more security flaws. Not that this has been proofed yet afaik but still..
