Glad to see this is all solved now. I'm sure it'll benefit @HostDoc experience wise one way, or another :)
-
Yes. You can use OpenVPN and PPTP from Ivacy on linux. Or browser extension :)
-
5 (WS, Ivacy, FastestVPN, Keepsolid, Getflix) . So technically that's 90% of my VPN usage dealt with. The rest, I blame on idling/collecting habits I adopted from LET and Windscribe's cool feature set.
-
You're welcome guys :) @vyas blinks nervously I have like 6 VPN subs (LTD) concurrently :S
-
Ah, corrected my post. Thanks ;)
-
Windscribe 3 year deal on Stacksocial (in case anyone still wants to get it): 36$ Code: CMSAVE40
-
It would be. But that's just how it is. Still a good deal. I messaged support regarding this btw: Windscribe says smth similar:
-
You have to reach out to Windscribe to prolong your lifetime deal, too. I wouldn't be too concerned about that. If they denied to renew lifetime licenses I imagine people would also complain to Stacksocial and they would only be allowed to offer their 5 year (not lifetime) deals at some point. Personally, I neither doubt…
-
Neither do I. Still, fair point to make.
-
Better ask Ivacy support. They are the only ones who know for sure if it works right now. That being said, who knows for how long (in regard to what @poisson said)
-
Interesting :P Anyway, sure they'll renew anyway.
-
Better ask their live chat to be sure :)
-
PIA was more trustworty, a while ago. Did you miss the thread where they stated that it was sold? https://talk.lowendspirit.com/discussion/comment/6590#Comment_6590

So you also got it before it was gone hehe :) Although, similar to Ivacy's rule of messaging support every 5 years to renew, my Windscribe lifetime sub (and others as well, see screenshot) is set to expire 2028. Knowing Yegor and the team, however, I think it's fair to believe they'll renew it free of charge if your are…

Glad I could help :)
-
Oh, WS humor is awesome. Yegor and the crew are great :)

Gotcha. Time to grab some popcorn. Literally? I'd advise going with a VPN Connection from Switzerland then. _Read this (from 2016): One in three people in Switzerland download unauthorized music, movies and games from the Internet and since last year the government has been wondering what to do about it. This week their…

Sounds great! I'll look into it :) Just saw you can set "Spoof" in ROBERT. Does that mean you can forward a domain to another IP when connected to WS. If yes, that'd be smth like hosts.cx which I often use to test migrated websites because I'm too lazy to edit the Windows hosts file :D
-
You're welcome :) So what's the use case now? Join the Discord, even if it's just for reading. You'll get to ask the dev team questions etc.
-
I love WS Robot and Robert. Plus the active Discord community ;)
-
Gotta hand it to Windscribe. Windscribe's featureset is just great :) You can configure your own ROBERT ( https://windscribe.com/features/robert ) and much more. No more lifetime though. Other than that I don't think Ivacy and VPNUnlimited are much of a difference performance wise. Perhaps, VPNUnlimited is a bit better but…
-
Didn't know you were into VPN Services. Anyway, the usual: Ivacy 5 years for 12$ with BFSAVE40 on Stacksocial. VPNUnlimited Lifetime for 24$ish on Stacksocial with BFSAVE40 Windscribe 3 years (a bit more expensive).

The free plan has no FTP, and lacks other stuff though. Check out their chart. Still, not bad.
-
The Last Kingdom. Vikings, up to season 3 has been fun, too.
-
Let's hope so :)
-
Right now it's JetBackup for CentOS though. Meh :/ Support for Debian/Ubuntu is yet to be added.
-
Why not go Proton free tier directly and premium if you need more bw/locations? :)
-
Very concerning, thanks for the share.
-
True haha :D
