ZAP-Hosting was recently breached (check their official website/your email). As compensation each client received an email with a 20€ voucher that can be redeemed in the ZAP Hosting client area to add to your balance ("cashbox"). The voucher should be in your mail, if not use: You could use the voucher to upgrade your…

I am sure @Nekki could also add some good memes, if they wanted to :P

I legit first thought it was @dosai posting lol I really like Keyhelp and ISPConfig as free panels :)

Tbh, I don't mind ads in the beginning. It can be even two ads before the video starts, I don't mind. I really hate them in between and I I'm not a fan of having them at the end of the video either.

Haha, thanks for the praise mate. Btw. I added some extra info in the post you quoted, so perhaps read the edited/extended version. Good luck with your research and feel free to reach out if you have any specific VPN provider in mind and would like some feedback :)

You are welcome, mate :) Plex Pass is another good example. Although, "software" is probably more sustainable as a lifetime deal than services like VPN or even VPS (Mike), Storage (pCloud/Koofr lifetime) or Mail (Jar). At the end of the day, it's you who calls the shots. You have to live with the decisions you make and…

@Mason in case you wanted to have a look, I've got a public spreadsheet where I list all the lifetime VPN/SmartDNS Deals I have purchased, along with some details such as "has expiry date? y/n", protocols, LE* users that use said VPN etc. I would still recommend any of the VPNs in my spreadsheet (except for R4AW VPN…

I have purchased Keepsolid VPN in 2016 for 39$ and Windscribe lifetime in 2018(?!) for some 60$ish. Ivacy Lifetime also some time in 2017 for some 30-40$ and FastestVPN lifetime in 2018 for some 5$ with the pay-what-you-want Stacksocial deal. At this point all of these have been worth their money several times. They could…

VPN Unlimited/Keepsolid did something similar a couple of weeks ago (US servers only iirc): https://torrentfreak.com/vpn-provider-agrees-to-block-torrent-traffic-and-the-pirate-bay-on-u-s-servers-220117/ Probably more VPN providers will follow. For those interested in torrenting (I don't), these might be VPN locations…

Maybe have a look at Bounty Source for inspiration in that regard :) https://bountysource.com/

Great idea! I don't remember the platform's name, but there was a platform where you could accept donations and it publicly showed how much money is in the pod and the cashflow where it goes (e.g. if it is spent on Hetzner or whatever ppl would see where it goes). Would also be cool to see (ofc not in terms of doubting the…

Well, doesn't that sound reassuring cough https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/news/security/nearly-30-percent-of-critical-wordpress-plugin-bugs-dont-get-a-patch/amp/

I believe I once bought a bundle with like 1000 games on Itch.io . Granted, I never played any of them (yet!!) but... :D

Totally get your point. However: Probably one of the most "attractive" reasons to offer lifetime plans for reseller/shared is that there is little "competition". Whereas yearly/monthly plans you are competing with the likes of HostMantis (shitty PR, great performance and affordable from 17€/y), Ramnode and other very…

Good luck with all and glws! :)

@phxwolf glad your issue got solved :) Just regarding ticket replies in general, the other day, I opened a ticket with MyW on Sunday evening and got a reply on Tuesday. So, even though they might be busy irl, they are still replying to tickets. Just need a bit more patience, I guess.

If Gimp runs on Linux it should be easily do-able with the Linux Beta environment :)

I am very happy with Affinity Designer/Photo. You should give it a try :) It's a one-time purchase only with updates for lifetime. https://affinity.serif.com/
