Reviews are reviews written in an explicit way, in many occasions, by one person or an individual columnist. Polls are implicit reviews in terms of behavior, in such occasions, people review by sending their votes. So, any expectations or wishes in this year's LET billboard?

Seems not the 1st time mentioning. You are among the best three VPS providers of 2019, remember that? Or maybe my poor memory? The other two are BuyVM and Virmach. update Ok, my poor memory. Fact check below. https://lowendbox.com/blog/2019-best-vps-provider-as-voted-by-the-low-end-talk-community/ among the four, instead…

I grabbed from GreenCloud a tokyo-based KVM, 1c-1g-15g, faster ping than expected, but not so stable. It fluctuates at some time.

My favorite SSH app for Windows OS is Bitvise SSH, and have been sticking to it for long. Haven't got one similar with Mac OS. Bitvise has SFTP integrated so when typing commands I can also upload and download via its SFTP module just like I've been using FlashFXP. It would be great that there are alternatives like this…

Thank you, Katie. Yes, I refer to NextCloud. I did a self-hosting job with my own machine, from ver 13, if my memory is correct. Actually, I think some sort of 'delay' would be a wise decision and reliable practice as there are always some bugs/glitches associated with NextCloud new releases which I've experienced a few…

NC frequently rolls out new vers. I can't update and follow its every step timely. Now I am with ver 15. Hetzner will keep updating and always stay with the latest ver?

I've tried Centos 6 & 7, Debian 8, 9 & 10, and Ubuntu 18. Among the three distros, there is no perceived favorite, but in recent couple of months, Debian 10 has been highly used and relied on.

There is an old proverb going long like this, never put all your eggs in one basket. And there is also another old proverb here, no use crying when all the eggs spilled.

I was curious how many machines does Virmach deploy/own? From virmach.app or virma.ch, sort of deal monitors, the entry has already upsoared to over 1,000. If in one batch Virmach released five or even ten, say on average, then it should have deployed or purchased over five thousand IPs, not to mention the existing…

My findings to offer: I got the same problem, not being able to reinstall with Debian 10, or with Ubuntu 18 LTS, but CentOS 7 and Debian 8 are OK. My guess is on the Kernel version, just a guess, because Debian 10 is released with higher kernel version (maybe it is not compatible with the OpenVZ system?). Some time ago, I…

I tried Debian, Ubuntu and CentOS. It could be great that Debian LTS last as long as CentOS, ten years. If I am to pick only one distro, then it is Debian, plus ver jessie/buster. It was CentOS if I was asked last year.

To be frank, I found most of the apps on the list unfamiliar, and that made me think that, Wow, here it is a huge new world! Ok, then, among the blogging platform there is Hexo, which has been my current blog system, but it looks they missed Hugo?
